Valedictory Function of HACKHIVE-2K26 !!
The valedictory ceremony of HACKHIVE-2K26 was successfully conducted on 7th May 2026 by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management, in association with the IEEE and ACM Student Chapters. The event marked the successful culmination of a vibrant 24-hour national-level hackathon that celebrated innovation, teamwork, and technological creativity.
HACKHIVE-2K26 featured exciting domains such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML), Web and App Development, and Hardware Design, providing a dynamic platform for student innovators to address real-world challenges through creative technological solutions. Participants demonstrated exceptional enthusiasm, technical expertise, and collaborative spirit throughout the event.
The hackathon received an overwhelming response, with participation from 110 teams comprising nearly 415 students from Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Goa. Students represented several educational hubs including Bengaluru, Hubballi-Dharwad, Gadag, Davangere, Raichur, and Kolhapur.
The projects were evaluated through multiple rounds by judges from both industry and academia.
The judging panel for the Hardware category included Mr. Akshay Hajeri, Staff Engineer, Vayavya Labs Pvt. Ltd, Belagavi and Dr. G. R. Udupi, Dept. of ECE, AITM. The Software (Web/App Development) category was evaluated by Prof. Sudhendra Deshpande, Professor & HOD, AMBIT, Belagavi, Prof. Gautam D, Dept. of CSE, AITM, Prof. Mahantesh Laddi, Asso. Prof. Dept. of CSE, AMBIT, Belagavi, Prof. Vaibhav Chavan, Asst. Prof. Dept. of IS, KLS GIT, Belagavi, Mr. Gajendra Deshpande, CEO, Theta Dynamics Pvt. Ltd and Prof. Sagar Birje, Dept. of AI & DS, AITM. The Software (AI/ML) category judges included Mr. Aditya S. Prabhu, Architect, Confluent, USA and Prof. Aijaz Qazi, Dept. of AI & DS, AITM.
During the valedictory function, the winning teams were announced and honored with prizes, certificates, and mementos. The judges highly appreciated the innovative ideas, practical implementations, and competitive spirit displayed by the participants.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sriram Kulkarni, Head of the Department of ECE, expressed sincere gratitude to all participants, mentors, judges, sponsors, faculty coordinators, and organizing committee members for making HACKHIVE-2K26 a grand success.

The faculty coordinators of the event, Prof. Pallavi Kulkarni and Prof. Arun Joti, played a significant role in the successful organization and ex*****on of the hackathon.
The ceremony concluded with a formal vote of thanks, highlighting the importance of innovation, experiential learning, and collaborative problem-solving fostered through the hackathon.
