JMS Academy proudly presented SUR GANGA a soulful evening of Classical & Semi-Classical Music celebrating 100 years of the mesmerizing musical journey of Sangeet Acharya Pandit Amiya Ranjan Bandyopadhyay.

With the brilliant presence of eminent sitarist Pandit Asim Roy Choudhury, distinguished accompanists, and the talented students of JMSA, the evening was filled with melody, devotion, tradition, and heartfelt tribute.

Grateful to everyone who joined us at Asutosh Mookherjee Memorial Institute on 17th May 2026 and made the celebration truly memorable.

✨ Congratulations to Oindrila Sinha! ✨

We are proud to share that Oindrila, a dedicated student of JMS Academy has secured Second Position in Shyama Sangeet at the 85th Online All India Music Competition – 2025, organised by Chetla Murari Smriti Sangeet Sammilani.

She has been pursuing Hindustani Classical Vocal under the tutelage of Dr. Meeta Sarkar for the last 12 years. Her journey is an inspiration, and we wish her many more milestones ahead. Her performance was beautifully accompanied on Tabla by Tarun Sutradhar.
