We are delighted to share that MGSM'S Smt. Sharadchandrika Suresh Patil College of Pharmacy, Chopda has successfully conducted a Virtual Campus Placement Drive today in collaboration with VS International Pvt. Ltd., Daman for D.Pharm and B.Pharm pass-out students.

The drive was organized in virtual mode, with 139 registrations, out of which 33 shortlisted candidates appeared for the interview. The selection process included screening, interviews, and interactions with company representatives.

We sincerely appreciate the enthusiasm, discipline, and professionalism demonstrated by all participating students. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the company team for providing this valuable career opportunity.

Special thanks to our Respected Management, Principal, Heads of Departments, and the Training & Placement Cell for their continuous support and guidance in making this drive a grand success.

We are pleased to share that a Guest Lecture on “Nucleic Acid Metabolism and Genetic Information Transfer” was successfully conducted at MGSM'S Smt. Sharadchandrika Suresh Patil College of Pharmacy, Chopda on 21st April 2026.

The session was delivered by Dr. P. N. Saudagar (M.Sc., Ph.D.), an expert in Taxonomy of Angiosperms, who provided valuable insights and enriched the knowledge of students and faculty.

The program was held in the Conference Hall from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM and witnessed active participation.

Final Year B.Pharm students have successfully secured selection for their startup ideas under the Women Entrepreneurship Program organized by KBCNMU–KCIIL (Center of Innovation & Incubation), Jalgaon.

👩‍🔬 Selected Students & Startup Ideas:

2️⃣ Manasi Borse & Neha Pawar – “Herbal Lozenges for Painless Removal of Worn/Decayed Tooth Cavity”

*Financial Literacy Lecture Organized on International Women’s Day at Chopda Pharmacy College*

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a lecture on Financial Literacy was organized on 9 March 2026 at MGSM'S Smt. Sharadchandrika Suresh Patil College of Pharmacy, Chopda,

Mr. Jitendra Aadhave, Senior Manager, Bank of India, attended the program as the Chief Guest and Resource Person. In his address, he emphasized the importance of financial awareness and independence for women and explained various banking schemes available for women.

Principal Dr. Gautam P. Vadnere stated that such expert lectures, along with academic and extracurricular activities, play an important role in the overall development of students.

Around 200 female students, along with women teaching and non-teaching staff, attended the program. The event was conducted under the guidance of Hon. Adv.Bhaiyyasaheb Sandeep Suresh Patil (President), Hon.Mrs. Ashatai Patil (Vice President), Hon. Taisaheb Dr. Smita Sandeep Patil (Secretary) and Principal Dr. Gautam P. Vadnere.

Prof. Dr. Mohammed Rageeb Mohammed Usman from MGSM'S Smt. Sharadchandrika Suresh Patil College of Pharmacy, Chopda, has successfully completed his Post-Doctoral Fellowship from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, during the academic year 2025–26. The fellowship is recognized by the university and verified by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi.

Dr. Mohammed Rageeb has been serving as the Head of the Department of Pharmacognosy and NAAC Coordinator for the past 18 years. He has made significant contributions to the field of research, holding 27 patents, authoring more than 180 books, publishing 190 research papers, and presenting 185 papers at national and international conferences.

He is also an approved research guide for B.Pharm., M.Pharm., and Ph.D. students under Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. Additionally, he serves as a member of the Board of Studies (BOS) and Board of Examination (BOE) of the university. He has received 38 national and international awards, and his name has been included in the internationally recognized reference book Who's Who.

On this remarkable achievement, the college organized a grand felicitation ceremony in his honor. The event was attended by Hon. Adv. Bhaiyyasaheb Sandeep Suresh Patil (President),Hon. Taisaheb Dr. Smita Sandeep Patil (Secretary), Dr. Gautam P. Vadnere (Principal), and Prafull More (Registrar), along with HOD, faculty members and staff who congratulated Prof. Dr. Mohammed Rageeb on his outstanding achievement.

On 28th February 2026, a Prize Distribution Ceremony for the academic year 2025–2026 was organized at Sakri, District Dhule, under the joint initiative “Career Katta” of the Maharashtra State Higher and Technical Education Department and the Maharashtra Information Technology Support Center. On this occasion, Smt. Sharadchandrika Suresh Patil College of Pharmacy, Chopda achieved remarkable success by securing a total of six awards. The college was honored with the Third Rank in the District-Level Best College Award. The Principal, Dr. Gautam P. Vadnere, was felicitated with the District-Level Best Principal Award. Additionally, the college received the Third Rank in the Best Career Sansad Award. Furthermore, the institution secured a District-Level Award in the Solar Energy Awareness Competition and a Divisional Second Prize in the AWS Career Tour Competition. The awards were received on behalf of the college by Principal Dr. Gautam P. Vadnere and Career Katta Coordinator Mr. K. C. Patil. This noteworthy achievement has been widely appreciated, and the Career Katta team of the college has been congratulated for their commendable performance.
