Veer Baal Diwas was celebrated on 23rd December, 2025 at G.T.B. Khalsa College of Education, Dasuya under the able guidance of Officiating Principal, Ms. Sandeep Kaur Boski. This day mark the martyrdom of sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. On this day, Poem, Speech and Group Shabad were performed and documentary was also shown by B.Ed interns of semester Ist and 3rd which remind us the great sacrifice and courageous of four Sahibzadas. Officiating Principal, Ms. Sandeep Kaur Boski shared the bravery life of four sahibzadas and told how age has no bar for bravery. All the faculty and students were present there.

Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College of Education, Dasuya organized the Finishing School Programme for B. Ed. Third semester students of the session 2024-26 on 22nd December, 2025. Asst. Prof.Dr. Gagandeep Kaur, Asst. Prof. Pardeep Singh Sahota, Asst. Prof. Raj Kumar, In-charges of teaching practice organized this programme. Asst. Prof. Raj Kumar welcomed the guest speakers of the day. The students of the third semester presented their Teaching Practice school report and shared their experience during their school practice and they were also appreciated by the college with token of money. Mr. Randeep Singh, Principal Govt. Senior Secondary School, Nangal Bihalan shared their views on 'Teaching in the age of AI tools and skills every teacher must have' . They addressed the students how even in the era of technology no one can replace a teacher. The second guest speaker Mr. Rajesh Gupta, Principal D.A.V. Senior Secondary School, Balagan shared there views on effective teaching and also familiar the students about the present status of teaching faculty. Ms. Sandeep Kaur Boski, Principal of Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College of Education expressed her gratitude to the guests and congratulate the students for successful completion of their internship phase.

National Mathematics Day was celebrated in G.T.B. Khalsa College of Education, Dasuya. The purpose of this day was to celebrate how mathematics provide clarity, cooperation and a sense of hope for a better future and how it can be used to address real world challenges. For this purpose, programme was organised in Seminar Hall. Anchoring was done by Neha Rani. The programme was started with College shabad. Manjot narrated poem on importance of mathematics in our life. Shaina shared her views by paying tribute to Srinivasa Ramanujan, a mathematical genius who made profound contributions to areas like number theory, infinite series and continued fractions which aims to promote math's importance and inspiring young minds. Fun oriented mathematics concept based games like ball balancers, odd- even combo, geometry hunts, odd- even race were played by maths students. Students performed all activities with full zeal and enthusiasm. The programme was ended with National Anthem.

World AIDS Day was celebrated in G.T.B. Khalsa College of Education, Dasuya in collaboration with G.T.B. Khalsa College for Women, Dasuya on December 1st, 2025. The theme of this day was “Overcoming disruption, transforming the AIDS response”. The objective of this celebration was to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS prevention. For this purpose, Poster Making Competition was conducted to create awareness about HIV/AIDS and to foster creativity and healthy competition among students.
Student showed their keen interest and an impressive number of students participated in this competition.
The college provided all the necessary material required for poster making. Upon completion, the posters were displayed in the college corridor, creating an informative and visually appealing exhibition for everyone to see. “Red Ribbon” human chain was also formed by students to symbolize unity in fighting against HIV/AIDS. It served as a strong visual representation of solidarity and commitment towards the cause of HIV/AIDS prevention. It was adorned with posters made by the students. It had positive impact on the students who has showed their solidarity and commitment to the cause. The event was successful and dedicated effort to spread awareness and education about HIV/AIDS. Aanchal scored first position, Jamima got second position, Harjot Kaur and Amanpreet both bagged third position.

National Constitution Day was celebrated in G.T.B. Khalsa College of Education, Dasuya on November 24th, 2025. The purpose of this activity is to spread awareness about the Constitution's importance, acknowledge the contributions of its founders like Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and promote constitutional values among students. For this purpose, the event was organized in Seminar Hall with the commencement of college Shabad. Anchoring was done by Neha Rani. Neha Choudhary shared her views on importance of constitution which gives us equality and freedom to speak our minds, to worship as we choose, and to live without fear. Poem was narrated by Mehroon Nisha. Harsuman Saini spoken out the facts on Constitution Day. Gurlin also highlighted the fundamental rights and duties enshrined in Indian Constitution and explained how to be a responsible Indians by respecting the law as well as upholding constitutional values and thus contributing positively towards our society by honouring the legacy of Constitution and building a brighter future for our nation. Documentary was shown on the LCD Projector which shows that constitution serves as a foundational framework for governance, protects fundamental rights and liberties, ensures accountability, prevents abuses of power, and helps unify diverse societies under common principles and the rule of law. The event was ended with National Anthem.
In online mode, various activities were conducted like all students took enthusiastically participated in quiz through MyGov.in and downloaded certificates. Pledge was taken by all students through constitution75.com and certificates were downloaded.

Guru Teg Bahadur College Of Education celebrated Children's Day on 13-11-25 under the guidance of officiating Principal Sandeep Kaur Boski .Incharges of this event are assistant professors Ms. Seema Rani and Mr. Rajkumar. The program commenced with Shabad Gayan. All faculty members were also present there. B.Ed students of 1st semester,Shikha and Poonam acted as stage anchors. Vaishali gave her speech on this event and Simran recited a beautiful poem in regard to Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru. Students gave a unique performance through their rhyme act. Apart from that, there were also some games played like blowing balloons, tongue twister, identifying the songs by observing the expressions of others. Our management committee, Mentor of our college respected Varinder kaur mam always encouraged them for their participation and Principal mam Ms. Sandeep Boski congratulated and appreciated the students for their unique performance.

Panjab University Zonal Youth and Heritage festival was held on 14-17th October 2025 at Malwa Central College of Education for Women, Civil lines, Ludhiana for Zone- 6 ( Education -A) . Our college bagged 16 prizes. We got 1st position in Rangoli (Riya Sem-III); Poem Recitation ( Harsh*ta Sem-I) , Dasuti (Amandeep, Sem-I), Pakki Making( Jaspreet Sem-I) and Punjabi Handwriting competition( Amritpreet Sem-I); 2nd position in Sammi, Still life drawing (Harsh*ta Sem-I) and Crochet Work ( Neha Choudhary Sem-I) and 3rd position in Ladies Traditional Songs, Folk Song (Kajal Sem-III), Collage Making (Aashima Sem-I), Elocution ( Gurleen Kaur Sem-I), English Handwriting Competition ( Amritpreet Sem-I) and Ennu Making ( Amandeep Kaur Sem- I). Diwali and Bandi Chhor Diwas was celebrated at Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College of Education on 17-10-2025 under the able guidance of Officiating Principal Sandeep Kaur Boski. To celebrate this day, Speech, Poem, group dance, documentaries were presented by the B.Ed interns of semester I. A street play related to Diwali was also presented by the students, the aim of which was to motivate the students to celebrate Green Diwali without bursting crackers. On this occasion, "Diya Decoration Competition" was organized in which Harsh*ta got first, Harjot Kaur got second and third postion got by Harpreet Kaur, Kirandeep Kaur and Jasmeet Kaur. At the end of the program, Deepmala was also done. A seminar on Drug Awareness was organised by Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College of Education, Dasuya on 13-10-2025 in the collaboration with Shivalik Hills Welfare Society, Hoshiarpur( A NGO partner with Society for Service to Voluntary North Punjab). Mr. Amarjeet Hamrol (Former Secretary District Red Cross Society and Chief Advisor Shivalik Hills Welfare Society, Hoshiarpur), Dr. Harminder Singh, Counselor (Drug Detoxification Center Civil Hospital, Dasuya), and Mr. Davinder Singh, Social Activist were the resource person of the seminar.On this occasion, B.Ed interns of Semester-I, Gurleen Kaur, Aanchal and Bhawna Singh gave speech on drugs addiction and awareness. Resource Person, Mr. Amarjeet Hamrol and Dr. Harminder Singh said that we should all support the government in the war against drugs that is being waged by the Punjab government. He said that drugs are hollowing out our society and drugs not only harm our body but also cause social harm and also weaken us economically. Social Activist, Davinder Singh also create awareness about ill effects of drug abuse and motivated all to build a drug free Punjab.The entire management committee, Dr. Varinder Kaur, the mentor of the college and Principal,G.T.B. Khalsa College for Women and Dean of GTB Educational Trust, Dr. Rupinder Kaur Randhawa gave a message to the children to be mentally and physically healthy and to stay away from drugs. World Mental Health Day was conducted in G.T.B. Khalsa College of Education, Dasuya in Seminar Hall by Sahibzada Fateh Singh House (Students of Semester-I of Session 2025-27). The theme of this day was "Access to Services- Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies." Anchoring was done by Gagandeep Kaur. The event was started with College Shabad. Thought of the day was presented by Ashma. Sanjana shared her views on prevalent mental health conditions and emphasizes on promoting good mental health practices and building resilience. Poem was recited by Manjot Kaur. Short documentary was prepared by Amrit and was shown on LCD Projector which draws attention to the significant treatment gap in mental healthcare, expand access to services and improve mental health policies for the overall well being. Facts was presented by Lovejot Kaur. Nukad Natak was played by Manjot Kaur, Jaspreet Kaur, Gagandeep Kaur, Amrit, Tamanna, Muskan and Jamima which encourages open dialogues on mental health issues and helping to break down the stigma that prevents many people from seeking help.
