**Dreams vs. Reality**

**How SIPs Can Help Achieve Your Financial Goals**

Many of us have dreams: owning a house, funding our children's education, traveling the world, or enjoying a comfortable retirement. But the gap between dreams and reality often feels daunting, especially when it comes to finances. The good news is that with systematic planning, specifically through Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs), turning dreams into reality becomes not only possible but achievable.

**Understanding SIPs**

A Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) is a method of investing a fixed amount of money regularly in any forms be it mutual funds, Post Office, or Life Insurance or any other Investment. Instead of making a large, lump-sum investment, SIPs allow you to spread your investments over time, making it a disciplined approach to wealth building.

**The Power of Compounding**

One of the greatest advantages of SIPs is compounding. Its snowball effect starts small and keeps on growing large as time passes. This turns small, regular investments into a large corpus.

**Flexibility & Affordability**

SIPs offer flexibility in terms of the amount and duration of investment. You can start, pause, stop & restart with any suitable sum and increase the amount as your income grows. This makes it easier to align your savings with your financial goals, whether it's buying a car in 5 years, funding a wedding in 10 years, or retiring in 20 years.

**Rupee Cost Averaging**

Another key feature of SIPs is rupee cost averaging in case of MF. Instead of trying to time the market, SIPs allow you to invest regularly, regardless of market fluctuations. This means you buy more units when prices are low and fewer when prices are high, reducing the impact of volatility over time.

**Achieving Financial Goals**

1. Short-term Goals: By investing in SIPs, you can accumulate funds for short-term goals like vacations, a new laptop, etc.

2. Medium-term Goals: SIPs are ideal for goals like children's education, down payment for a car, or a wedding fund, allowing you to steadily build a significant corpus.

3. Long-term Goals: For long-term objectives like retirement, SIPs help ensure that you build a large, sustainable retirement fund. Over decades, compounding and regular investments can turn small amounts into a substantial retirement corpus.

**Turning Dreams into Reality**

Your dreams are within reach with the right planning. SIPs enable you to break down your financial goals into manageable, consistent actions, ensuring that the gap between dreams and reality narrows over time. Whether it's a house, education, or early retirement, the disciplined approach that SIPs offer can make all the difference.

By starting early, staying consistent, and allowing time and compounding to do their magic, you can achieve your financial dreams with ease.

Examinations, those seemingly harmless collections of questions—whether subjective or objective—can quickly turn into sources of anxiety. This stress stems from a cocktail of factors: inadequate preparation throughout the year or semester, fear of failure, the pressure to meet expectations, uncertainty about the unknown, and even physiological reactions like increased heart rate and sweating caused by the stress-induced adrenaline rush. If not addressed, this stress can cloud our thinking, hinder performance, and create a negative cycle, leading to what I've termed the "Blanking Problem."

This refers to when a student experiences a mental blackout while reading the exam paper in the hall due to mental cramps. However, after leaving the exam hall, they remember every detail—a phenomenon known as post-exam recall, although it's of little help since they've already submitted their answer sheets to the invigilator. With a mindful approach, one can approach exams with clarity and composure. Here are five tips to help you navigate the exam environment with confidence:

a. Plan and Prepare: Procrastination breeds panic. Create a study schedule, gather relevant materials, and break down the syllabus into manageable chunks. The more prepared you feel, the less stressed you'll be.

b. Simulate the Exam Environment: Familiarize yourself with the testing environment. Conduct mock tests under similar conditions (time limit, format, seating arrangement) to reduce the shock factor and boost confidence.

c. Group Study and Support: Studying with peers can enhance understanding and provide emotional support. Discuss concepts, practice explaining ideas, and encourage each other to stay positive.Don't hesitate to reach out to teachers, mentors, or counselors if you're struggling with the material or feeling overwhelmed. Seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

d. Read Instructions Carefully: Don't jump the gun! Take a few minutes to understand the exam format, instructions, and marking scheme. Clarity avoids confusion and wasted time, reducing stress during the exam.

e. Positive Self-Talk: Ditch the negative talks! Replace self-doubt with positive mantras! Believe in your abilities and visualize yourself succeeding. A positive mindset fosters confidence and reduces stress.

And here are 2 tips for the parents during this important journey:

1. Manage your own expectations and anxieties: Your child feeds off your energy. If you're stressed about their exams, they'll likely pick up on that and feel more pressure themselves. Maintain a calm and supportive environment at home, reminding them that their self-worth doesn't hinge on their score. Celebrate their effort and progress, not just the outcome.

2. Shift the focus from grades to growth: Help your child understand that exams are a learning experience, not just a final judgment. Encourage them to focus on understanding the material, applying their knowledge in different contexts, and improving their study habits. This takes the pressure off getting a perfect score and fosters a lifelong love of learning.

Facing exams doesn't have to be a stressful experience. By adopting these tips and prioritizing your well-being, you can approach exams with confidence and calmness, paving the way for success. Wishing you all green lights!

SUCCESS DEMAND THESE 6 THINGS
1. HARD WORK

Don't believe in luck, believe in hard work. Stop trying to rush the process or searching for a shortcut. There is none.

2. PATIENCE

If you are losing the patience, you are losing the battle. First nothing happens, then it happens slowly and suddenly all at once. Most people give up at stage one.

3. SACRIFICE

If you don't sacrifice for what you want, then what you want becomes the sacrifice. Everything has its price. The question is: Are you ready to pay it for the life you desire?

4. CONSISTENCY

Consistency is what transforms average into excellence. Without consistency, you will never achieve greater success.

5. DISCIPLINE

Motivation gets you going, but discipline keeps you growing. There will be days when you don't "feel" like doing it. You have to push through those days regardless of how you feel.

"More Than Children, It Is Parents...": Supreme Court On Student Suicides
There is intense competition and students have no other option but to go to these coaching institutes, said Supreme Court.

New Delhi: "Intense competition" and "pressure" of parents on their wards preparing for competitive exams are the main reasons for the rising number of su***des across the country, the Supreme Court said on Monday.
Hearing a plea that sought regulation of the mushrooming coaching institutes and cited the data on student su***des, a bench of justices Sanjiv Khanna and SVN Bhatti, however, expressed helplessness and said the judiciary cannot pass directions in such a scenario.

"These are not easy things. Pressure from parents is behind all these incidents. More than the children, it is the parents who are putting pressure on them. How can the court pass directions in such a scenario," the bench told advocate Mohini Priya, appearing for the petitioner - Mumbai-based doctor Aniruddha Narayan Malpani.

Justice Khanna said, "Although, most of us will not want any coaching institute to be there, but look at the conditions of schools. There is intense competition and students have no other option but to go to these coaching institutes." Referring to the 2020 data of the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), Priya said it highlights that around 8.2 per cent of students in the country die by su***de.

The bench said that it knows about the situation but the court can't pass directions and suggested that the petitioner instead approach the government with his suggestions.

Priya sought to withdraw the plea to approach the appropriate forum, which the court allowed.

The plea filed by Malpani through Priya said that it seeks appropriate directions for regulating the conduct of “profit-hungry private coaching institutes mushrooming across India which provide coaching for various competitive entrance examinations such as IIT-JEE (Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination) and NEET (National Eligibility cm Entrance Test)”.
It said that the petitioner has been constrained to approach the court as several students have committed su***des in recent years "facilitated by the absolute lack of regulation and oversight by the Respondents (Centre and state governments)".

"Children as young as 14 years enter these coaching factories often away from their homes and undergo rigorous preparation in the anticipation of getting admission to a good medical or engineering college.
"After being in a protected home environment, the child is suddenly exposed to the harsh competitive world without being mentally equipped to do so. These profit-hungry coaching institutes, however, do not care about student well-being and are only focussed on minting money leading to the youth of India being pressurised enough to take their own lives," the petition said.

It said that children are being made to live and study in these coaching factories in subpar and abnormal conditions which are severely affecting their mental health.
"What is most dangerous about mental health is that it is invisible, unlike other ailments in our body. However, just like other physical ailments, mental health problems too are triggered by extrinsic forces, surrounding environment and pressures," it said.

The plea said that student su***des were a grave human rights concern.

"The lackadaisical attitude of the Centre in enacting a law despite the rising number of su***des clearly reflects upon the State's apathy towards protecting these young minds who are the future of our country and their constitutional right to live with dignity guaranteed under Article 21," the plea alleged.

Once upon a time in Baikunth Sheshnag on the bed of lord Narayan. He was engrossed in his bliss by closing his eyes. Same time God Pressing the feet of Shri Lakshmi ji asked, “O Lord! Sleep and laziness pervade those men. The creatures who are Tamasi. Then you are beyond even these three qualities. Shri Narayan Prabhu is Vasudev. Your eyes are closed. Which amazes me”. Lord Narayan said," O Lakshmi! I am not overcome by sleep and laziness. I am engrossed in the bliss of the knowledge that is in the form of a single word, the Bhagavad Gita. As 24 Avatars are my form. Similarly, there is an incarnation in the form of Gita.

These are my parts in this Gita.5 chapters are my head, 5 chapters are my arms, 5 chapters are my heart and mind. Chapter Sixteen is My Stomach. The seventeenth chapter is my thigh. Chapter Eighteen is my feet. The verses of the entire Gita. Those are my veins and those are the letters of the Gita. that's my rome,This is the knowledge of Gita in the form of my words. Thinking about its meaning, I get a lot of joy.

Five things you should know before using 5G services

Last week, India joined the elite list of countries that have launched the 5G services. So far, Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio have launched the 5G services in India in select cities. The 5G technology is expected to deliver ten times better download speed than that of 4G and up to three times greater spectrum efficiency. As the high-speed telephony spreads across the country over the next few months, here are five pointers to consider.

What would be the 5G Speed in India:
As per reports, mobile subscribers will get up a speed of 600 megabit per second in 5G network during the launch phase as the load on the network will be low. However, it will continue to remain in the range of 200-300 mbps after full roll out. This means a two-hour high definition movie which is generally around 6 GB file size can be downloaded in 1 minute 25 seconds and a 4K movie in about 3 minutes at a top speed of 600 mbps.

Which cities in India will get 5G?
Airtel and Jio have launched the 5G services in few cities. Airtel has currently launched 5G service in eight cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Varanasi and Bangalore. While Jio launched it 5G services on the occasion of Dussehra in four cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Varanasi.Telecom minister Ashwini Vaishnaw initially said that the government is working to launch 5G in 200 cities over the next six months. But later he updated that the momentum of work has been such that 600 cities would be covered in the next six months. The pan-India coverage may take couple of years.

Will I have to change SIM card for 5G?
Both Airtel and Jio have confirmed that the existing SIMs will work on 5G phones. However, A 4G SIM can work in 5G-powered phones, but, you might not be able to leverage the 5G capabilities to the fullest. To enjoy the 5G network to its maximum potential, you may have have get a 5G SIM with a 5G phone later on.

What will be the 5G network Strength
Several reports suggest that to enjoy full 5G services users will have to be in the close proximity of the cellular towers. So the location of the towers will become important for getting full services of 5G. If you will not be in close proximity of a tower and you may face inconsistent reception or worse, no signal at all.

5G Data plan prices
India service providers have not revealed the 5G plans in India. However Jio has announced a free welcome offer for its 5G services. While Airtel has also said that the 5G services will be available at existing 4G rates. A new tariff for 5G will be announced later.

Tiny robotic pill RoboCap delivers drugs to guts and could end injections like insulin

Devices produced for human health continue to make our lives easier. For this purpose, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) researchers aim to finish insulin injections by producing a robotic capsule.

Normally, large protein drugs cannot be given orally because they cannot cross our mucus barrier. This means that insulin and most other "biologic drugs" — drugs consisting of proteins or nucleic acids — have to be injected or administered in a hospital, as stated in the press release.
Published in Science Robotics on September 28, the study indicates that this newly developed weensy pill - named "RoboCap" - could toll the death knell for injections by spinning and tunneling through the mucus barrier and when it reaches the small intestine, allowing drugs carried by the capsule to pass into cells lining the intestine.

"By displacing the mucus, we can maximize the dispersion of the drug within a local area and enhance the absorption of both small molecules and macromolecules," says Giovanni Traverso, the Karl van Tassel Career Development Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at MIT and a gastroenterologist at Brigham and Women's Hospital.

Overcoming to obstacles
The originator of RoboCap is Shriya Srinivasana, a research affiliate at MIT's Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research and a junior fellow at the Society of Fellows at Harvard University, who is the lead author of the study.

Srinivasana proposed developing a protective capsule with a mechanism that can tunnel through mucus, similar to how tunnel boring machines drill into soil and rock.

"I thought that if we could tunnel through the mucus, then we could deposit the drug directly on the epithelium," she says. "The idea is that you would ingest this capsule, and the outer layer would dissolve in the digestive tract, exposing all these features that start to churn through the mucus and clear it."

Working principle is eye-popping
RoboCap, which is about the size of a multivitamin, contains the tunneling features in its main body and surface as well as the medicine payload in a small reservoir at one end. The gelatin coating on the capsule can be adjusted to disintegrate at a particular pH level.

A tiny motor within the RoboCap capsule begins spinning when the coating dissolves because of the pH change that results from this process. This movement aids the capsule's ability to burrow into the mucus and push it aside. Additionally, the capsule is covered in tiny protrusions that function like toothbrush bristles to remove mucus.

"What the RoboCap does is transiently displace the initial mucus barrier and then enhance absorption by maximizing the dispersion of the drug locally," Traverso says.

"By combining all of these elements, we're really maximizing our capacity to provide the optimal situation for the drug to be absorbed."

In experiments on animals, the researchers delivered insulin or vancomycin, a potent antibiotic with a long peptide that is used to treat a variety of infections, including those affecting orthopedic implants and skin infections.

The researchers also discovered that they could deliver 20 to 40 times more medication with the capsule than they could with a similar capsule without the tunneling mechanism. In addition, The researchers found no sign of inflammation or irritation in the digestive tract after the capsule passed through.
Abstract

Oral drug delivery of proteins is limited by the degradative environment of the gastrointestinal tract and poor absorption, requiring the parenteral administration of these drugs. Luminal mucus represents the initial steric and dynamic barrier to absorption. To overcome this barrier, we report the development of the RoboCap, an orally ingestible, robotic drug delivery capsule that locally clears the mucus layer, enhances luminal mixing, and topically deposits the drug payload in the small intestine to enhance drug absorption. RoboCap's mucus-clearing and churning movements are facilitated by an internal motor and by surface features that interact with small intestinal plicae circulares, villi, and mucus. Vancomycin (1.4 kilodaltons of glycopeptide) and insulin (5.8 kilodaltons of peptide) delivery mediated by RoboCap resulted in enhanced bioavailability 20- to 40-fold greater in ex vivo and in vivo swine models when compared with standard oral delivery (P < 0.05). Further, insulin delivery via the RoboCap resulted in therapeutic hypoglycemia, supporting its potential to facilitate oral delivery of drugs that are normally precluded by absorption limitations.

At 40, Franz Kafka , who never married and had no children, walked through the park in Berlin when he met a girl who was crying because she had lost her favorite doll. She and Kafka searched for the doll unsuccessfully.

Kafka told her to meet him there the next day and they would come back to look for her.

The next day, when they had not yet found the doll, Kafka gave the girl a letter "written" by the doll saying "please don't cry. I took a trip to see the world. I will write to you about my adventures."

Thus began a story which continued until the end of Kafka's life.

During their meetings, Kafka read the letters of the doll carefully written with adventures and conversations that the girl found adorable.

Finally, Kafka brought back the doll (he bought one) that had returned to Berlin.

"It doesn't look like my doll at all," said the girl.

Kafka handed her another letter in which the doll wrote: "my travels have changed me." the little girl hugged the new doll and brought her happy home.

A year later Kafka died.

Many years later, the now-adult girl found a letter inside the doll. In the tiny letter signed by Kafka it was written:

"Everything you love will probably be lost, but in the end, love will return in another way."
