Law College Dehradun, Dehradun.(L.C.D.) Law College Dehradun was founded in the year 2002 with the aim of providing quality education in law. We pioneered the five year B.A.LL.B.

integrated degree course in Uttarakhand. His Excellency Shri Surjeet Singh Barnala the then Governor of Uttarakhand inaugurated the college in a graceful ceremony. The other dignitaries present on the occasion were, Dr.Ramesh Pokhriya 'Nishank',the present chief Minister of the State of Mr. Aggrawal Vice President, Bar council of India, Mr. Suryakant Dhasmana and other distinguished people fr

om various fields. Shri Barnala hoped that the College will live up to the expectation of the students-community, parents and the society at large. Inaugurating the Law College Dehradun on 8th October, 2002, His Excellency Shri Surjit Singh Barnala, the then Governor of Uttarakhand complimented the students on choosing the law degree courses and said... "There is still need for good lawyers." In eight years time we have redeemed our pledge to make Law College Dehradun the premier college of the region.

NOTICE
This is to inform the students of Law College Dehradun that the Debating Society is organising Opinionem Session – 3 titled as :
“Inside the juvenile minds”
All those who are interested to participate may get their names registered on or before 9th April,2013 to Dr. Romil Bhatkoti, the Faculty of Political Science or to any member of the debating society or may mail us at [email protected]" rel="ugc" target="_blank">[email protected] .
The Opinionem shall be divided into following segments :
i. Introduction- about juveniles and juvenile delinquency
ii. Existing laws on juveniles
iii. Comparison of Indian juvenile laws with international laws
iv. The reasonableness of the protection accorded to juveniles in case of heinous crimes
v. Age bar for juveniles
