A wall painting competition and quiz, were conducted on 12th and 14th August 2026 at Meerabai DSEU Campus . Based on the theme of independence, these activities provided students with a platform to showcase their creativity, enhance their awareness, and celebrate the spirit of patriotism. Through creative wall art and an interactive quiz, the participants reflected upon India’s journey to freedom, its core values, and its significant achievements. The events witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, fostering a strong sense of unity, pride, and patriotism.
The programme concluded on a high note with a soulful patriotic song performance by the students, which further enriched the celebrations and created an atmosphere of pride and national spirit.

DSEU CELEBRATES THE 80TH INDEPENDENCE DAY WITH UNSTOPPABLE SPIRIT!

Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University celebrated the 80th Independence Day with immense pride, enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at DSEU Headquarters, Dwarka.

The celebration, graced by Prof. (Dr.) Ashok Kumar Nagawat, Vice-Chancellor, DSEU, as Chief Guest and Sh. Shailendra Singh Parihar, IAS, Registrar, DSEU, as Guest of Honour, brought together hundreds of students, faculty, staff and Campus Directors from across the University.

From patriotic songs and energetic dance performances to powerful dramas and cultural presentations, our students filled the campus with an electrifying spirit of patriotism, creativity and unity. 🇮🇳✨

Dr. Pankaj Lathar, Controller of Finance & Director, PR, motivated the students and reminded them of the immense sacrifices of our freedom fighters, inspiring the young generation to uphold their values through responsible citizenship and contribution to nation-building.

The celebration concluded with a renewed resolve to build a skilled, empowered, innovative and self-reliant India.

DSEU HQ, Dwarka Campus Illuminated in the Colours of the Tricolour… 🇮🇳

On the eve of India’s 80th Independence Day, the entire DSEU Headquarters, Dwarka came alive in the vibrant colours of the Tricolour. As the campus lit up, it felt as though every wall echoed the spirit of patriotism and every light told a story of national pride.

✨ These lights illuminate not just the building, but also our resolve, pride and dreams of a ‘Viksit Bharat’. 🇮🇳✨

The celebrations will continue tomorrow with a Grand Independence Day Celebration at DSEU Headquarters, Dwarka, on 15th August, bringing together the DSEU community to celebrate the spirit of freedom, unity and nation-building. 🇮🇳

Har Ghar Tiranga – A Celebration of Patriotism and National Pride

Date: 13 August 2026

Venue: Meerabai DSEU Campus, Maharani Bagh, Delhi

Meerabai DSEU Campus, under the guidance of Campus Director Mrs. Shubha G.V., organised the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign as part of its Independence Day celebrations. The event brought students, teachers and faculty members together to celebrate India’s freedom and reflect upon the values of unity, courage and responsibility.

The programme aimed to remind everyone that the Tricolour is not only a symbol of national pride but also represents the sacrifices and responsibilities associated with freedom.

The highlight of the programme was a series of engaging Nukkad Nataks presented by the students. Through creative acting, powerful dialogues and meaningful storytelling, the performances explored the spirit of India’s freedom struggle, the significance of the Tricolour, national unity and the responsibilities that come with being a free citizen. The performances created an energetic atmosphere on campus while encouraging everyone to think and reflect on the true meaning of independence.

DSEU Celebrates Patriotism with Vibrant Tiranga Yatra on 13th August led by Prof. Ashok Kumar Nagawat, VC, DSEU

The Yatra was inaugurated by Prof. Ashok Kumar Nagawat, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, DSEU, who urged students, faculty and staff to uphold the values of unity, responsibility and patriotism and contribute towards building a stronger and progressive India.

Carrying the Tricolour with pride, the DSEU community marched through Dwarka, raising patriotic slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram.” The collective singing of the National Anthem at Sector 9 Signal created a powerful moment of national pride and unity.

The celebration reflects the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji’s Har Ghar Tiranga initiative, encouraging every citizen to connect with and honour the National Flag. It also resonates with the vision of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shrimati Rekha Gupta Ji of Delhi, inspiring the youth of Delhi to embrace patriotism, civic responsibility and active participation in nation-building.

🚢 A Landmark Step Towards Transforming Inland Water Transport Education!

Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Inland Navigation Institute (NINI), to strengthen skill development and professional training in the Inland Water Transport (IWT) sector.

This pioneering collaboration introduces India's first Diploma and B.Sc. Programme in Inland Water Transport (IWT) along with the Inland Vessels Cadets Scheme, creating a structured pathway for students and professionals to build rewarding careers in the maritime sector.

The partnership aims to:
✅ Develop industry-aligned academic and training programmes
✅ Enhance employability and entrepreneurship opportunities
✅ Promote research, innovation, and knowledge exchange
✅ Build a skilled workforce to support India's growing inland waterways ecosystem

Together, DSEU and NINI are contributing to the vision of Skill India, Sagarmala, and Atmanirbhar Bharat by preparing the next generation of skilled professionals for a sustainable and future-ready Inland Water Transport sector.
