Central to the success and popularity of the Department is a remarkable faculty. The Department focuses on actual business practices, and creates a deep understanding of business through its research and interaction. This is achieved by teachers who work with skill and passion. Our faculty is an interesting mix of extremely experienced individuals who are experts in their own respective fields and

relatively younger members who bring fresh ideas and approach to the floor. We at the Department emphasize the wholesome development of our students. Apart from the strict course curriculum that is followed, several extra curricular activities such as the Annual Commerce Festival and International Seminars are also organized. The Department of Commerce,Ramjas College is one of the most prestigious Departments in the College which focuses on overall development of a student.

Aimed at encouraging students to apply their skills outside the classroom and interact with people from diverse areas of specializations, ARBITRAGE 2020, the three day annual festival of The Commerce Society, Ramjas College was organised by the ComSoc Team headed by Deepali Gupta, President from February 10th to 12th.
The festival started with an inaugural ceremony with the lighting of the lamp by the senior professors and Dr.Dhani Ram, Society Convener.

Mr. Saurabh Jain and Mr. R.C. Ratan graced the event as Chief Guests.
MR. R.C. Ratan is the Chairman PSC Railway Board at Ministry of Railway, Government of India.
The Vice President of Paytm, Mr. Saurabh Jain who is heading the ‘Paytm - Build for India’ program and has an active role in startup products, developer relations, social impact / CSR, education and training within Paytm enlightened the students with his words.

Dr. S Lakshmi Devi, Hony. Director Centre for Entreprenuership and Career Oriented Programs (Delhi University) and Dr. S.P. Agarwal, Principal of Ramanunjan College were the Guests of Honour.
