Hope you are doing well.

The *Policy Research Foundation (PRF)* is organising a one-day workshop on *“Role of Media and Communication in Elderly Care”* in association with India’s prominent Media Institute i.e. *Indian Institute of Mass Communication* (IIMC). The *Theme* of the event is *“Changing need and rights of older people in India”*. The event is scheduled on *8th of December 2022*,
*Time* 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM.

We are looking for volunteers to assist us in organising the event and helping us making it a successful.

The volunteers will have the opportunity to be exposed to the workshop and will be awarded with a certificate for the same.

Dhaka University Debating Society (DUDS), one of the oldest debating societies in Bangladesh is thrilled to host a Regional Debate Competition on October 15 & 16, 2022.

After a protracted period of infirmity due to the Covid-19 pandemic, as people started attending and hosting more offline events, the debate circuit all over the world appears to have lost the connection that it had built during the pandemic. In light of this, and with the intention of providing a forum for the most intellectual individuals from across South Asia to interact and exchange ideas, DUDS is presenting 'DUDS - South Asian Debating Championship 2022'.

The best university debate teams in South Asia will compete here, which will feature excellent organization, a competitive environment in which you can sharpen your skills for forthcoming major competitions, and a chance to adjudicate among the bests in the circuit.

# Tournament Details:

• Format : British Parliamentary.
• Platform : Discord & Zoom.
• Team Cap : 16
• Rounds : 4 prelims, final break.
• Judge Rule : N=1.
• Registration fee : USD 30 (International Teams), BDT 3,000 (Local Teams).
• Prize money : 150 USD for the Champion, 100 USD for the Runner Up. Top 3 breaking IA will receive 30 USD, 25 USD & 20 USD respectively.
