Aero-I DTU

Aero-I DTU The Aero-I DTU project was initiated to design a Micro Unmanned Aerial Vehicle capable of navigating in a confined environment using SLAM. J.

We are a team(Team AERO-I) of 6 students from Delhi Technological University (formerly DELHI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING) working on an Micro Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (MUAV) project. The aim of our project is to develop a UAV which can traverse in a GPS- denied indoor environment. We are working on this project to compete at the 'INTERNATIONAL AERIAL ROBOTICS COMPETITION (IARC)' (organised by AUVSI in

USA). We are one of the few colleges in India who have registered for this international event. We work in the areas-
1. Mechanical design- Aerodynamic modeling of the vehicle.
2. Computer vision- Camera and atom board processor for on board image processing.
3. Embedded systems- Microcontrollers programming and sensors interfacing. Faculty Advisor- Prof. Panda
