ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਵਾਈਸ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਡਾ ਸੁਰੇਸ਼ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤਹਿਤ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਵਲ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ “ਸਕਾਈਲਾਈਨ ਰੈਵੋਲਿਊਸ਼ਨ ਕੰਸਟਰਕਸ਼ਨ ਆਫ਼ ਸਕਾਈਸਕ੍ਰੈਪਰ “ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਸਫਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਵਿਦਵਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਡਾ. ਹਰਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ, ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ, ਐੱਸ ਐੱਸ ਆਈ ਈ ਟੀ , ਦੀਨਾਨਗਰ ਨੇ ਸਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਤਕਨੀਕਾਂ, ਸੰਰਚਨਾਤਮਕ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਕਾਈਸਕ੍ਰੇਪਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਤੀ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਨਵੀਂਨਤਮ ਪ੍ਰਥਾਵਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕੀਤੀ।

A workshop titled “Skyline Revolution: Construction of Skyscrapers” was successfully organized by the Department of Civil Engineering at the University. The expert lecture was delivered by Dr. Harpal Singh, Principal, SSIER, Dinanagar, who provided in-depth knowledge on modern construction techniques, structural challenges, and innovative practices involved in the development of skyscrapers.

The workshop was conducted under the dedicated efforts of the Head of Department, Dr. Parampreet Kaur, whose leadership ensured active participation and academic enrichment of both students and faculty members.

The event was organized under the esteemed guidance of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and Hon’ble Registrar of the University. Their constant support and encouragement played a vital role in making the workshop informative and successful.
