Since the inception of B.Tech [Biomedical Engineering] course in 2001, within the span of 15 yrs, the department of Biomedical Engineering is well posed to cater the needs of the course. It is equipped with well-developed laboratories to satisfy the course curriculum of various subjects related especially to the Biomedical Engineering field. The Biomedical Engineering Department imparts knowledge

to the students and prepares them to play an important role when they go to field jobs, to aid human health services. They maintain and operate the role code of practice of Hospital equipments, standards and testing, safety regulation and patient’s data recording. Eligibility Criteria for Admission in B.Tech Biomedical:

- Students of H.S.C with "A" group as well as "AB" group are eligible to apply for the admission in B.Tech program of Biomedical Engineering.

- Students of Diploma in Biomedical Engineering are eligible to apply for the same with direct admit to 3rd semester of B.Tech Biomedical.
