Department of Electronics & Communication (EC) was formed in 1998 to meet the engineering requirements of manpower in the emerging fields of Communication & Electronics. The course curriculum has been so designed as to meet the industrial needs. The Department has well equipped laboratories with required software & hardware. Electronics and communication is vast field under which there are lots of

opportunities for the students. Students will have chance to prove themselves efficient for the upcoming β€œDigital India” and β€œMake in India” initiatives by government of India. New Electronics policy has been decided by both Government of Gujarat and Government of India. Due to this policy, there will be best future chances for the students. Next Generation Technology is creating best chances for the EC Engineers. Our students have got best placement opportunities. Majority of the students are either employed or have proceeded for further studies in India as well as abroad. All faculty members of EC department have M.E./M.Tech. degrees and among them four faculties have completed Ph. D in four are currently pursuing Ph.D. in different areas.
