The Department of Applied Biology, USTM is delighted to share that Ms. Indrani Laskar, Laboratory Officer, Department of Applied Biology, along with Dr. Rajib Saha (Scientific Officer, CIF-ARC, USTM), Dr. Md. Rofiqul Islam (Assistant Director, ARC, USTM), has published a research article titled: “Green Synthesis of Cobalt Oxide (Co₃O₄) Nanoparticles Using Caulokaempferia secunda Root Extracts and Their Biological and Electrochemical Investigation” in the prestigious journal Crystal Research and Technology (Wiley-VCH), 2026.

The study explores the green synthesis of Co₃O₄ nanoparticles using Caulokaempferia secunda root extract and investigates their antibacterial, antioxidant, and electrochemical properties, highlighting their potential for biomedical and electrochemical applications.

Congratulations to Ms. Indrani Laskar and all the co-authors on this significant research achievement.
