Deeksharambh Orientation & Induction Programme 2026–27 | Day 2
This day at Sunder Deep Pharmacy College was all about helping our newly admitted students understand, connect, and confidently begin their journey into university life.
Starting with a Positive Mindset
The day began with an engaging Workshop on the Art of Living by Dr. Shruti Pandey, SMLA, where students explored the importance of stress management, positive thinking, self-discipline, and a healthy lifestyle. A wonderful reminder that success is not just about academics but it is also about well-being and balance.
Understanding Academic Life
Ms. Nidhi Singh guided students through the university curriculum, examination system, mid-term assessments, and attendance requirements, helping them understand what to expect and how to stay prepared throughout their academic journey.
Knowing the Rules, Knowing Our Responsibilities
Dr. Prasoon Kumar Saxena introduced students to SGU and PCI rules and regulations, emphasizing discipline, professional responsibility, and the standards expected from future pharmacy professionals.
Ethics, Conduct & Library Essentials
Mr. Shailender Mishra highlighted the importance of ethical behaviour, academic integrity, responsible conduct, and making the best use of library resources.
Connecting Through Mentorship
The day concluded with an interactive Mentor–Mentee Interaction Session, facilitated by Ms. Neha Jain, Ms. Rabia Choudhary, Ms. Nargis Khan, Ms. Sonali Arora, and Ms. Nandini Goyal. Students openly shared their questions, thoughts, and concerns, creating the foundation for meaningful mentor–mentee relationships.
It was more than just a series of sessions; it was a meaningful step towards shaping confident, responsible, disciplined, and well-rounded pharmacy professionals.
