The Event AI ARENA commenced with a formal welcome and introduction to the theme of AI Arena. Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Rathi, Director presented a Sapling to Prof. (Dr.) Jaideep Kumar, Director, SET.
Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Rathi, Director, SCA briefed Students about the purpose of the programme, the activities to be undertaken, and the importance of Artificial Intelligence in contemporary academic and professional environments.
The programme provided a platform for student participation and technical engagement around Artificial Intelligence. Participants were encouraged to present and discuss their ideas and demonstrate their understanding of AI-related concepts and applications.
Prof. (Dr.) Jaideep Kumar, Director, SET, Event Judge, reviewed the participating activities/presentations and interacted with students. His observations and academic inputs helped students understand the practical relevance of Artificial Intelligence and the importance of clarity, innovation, technical understanding, and effective presentation.
The event was conducted with the support and coordination of the School of Computer Applications and concluded with acknowledgement of the participation and efforts of the students and faculty members.
Dr. Gavendra Singh, (Associate Professor & IQAC Coordinator) delivered the welcome address, motivating students and highlighting the importance of innovation and practical learning. The event then proceeded with the allocation of labs to participants.
Summary:
The Event took place on 17th September 2026 from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM at the respective labs of SGU. After the inauguration session, students were guided to their allocated labs where they were given time for preparation.
Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Rathi, Director, SCA, has guided for successful organisation of The AI ARENA 2026 Event at SGU. The Event judge Prof. (Dr.) Jaideep Kumar, Director, SET, along with SCA Faculties visited each lab and evaluated the presentation one by one. Students presented their ideas, innovations, and working models, which were assessed based on criteria such as Innovation, Presentation, Project stage, and Design. Total 130 Students were selected for the AI Arena. After detailed Evaluation, the winners for First, Second and Third Position were announced.
The Winner position for First, Second and third were secured by Following Students:
• Nitin Kumar, BCA(Hons.) 1st Year, First Position
• Raj Mishra, BCA(Hons.) 3rd Year, Second Position
• Lucky Yadav, BCA(Hons.) 1st Year) Third Position
The winners were awarded, certificate, Cash prize and Trophy by Prof. (Dr.) Jaideep Kumar for their outstanding performance.
The Event was efficiently managed with the support of SCA Faculties and a dedicated team of Student coordinators including Mr. Diwakar, Mr. Nitin and their TechspireX Club team handled various responsibilities and ensured the smooth ex*****on of all activities throughout the Event. The Event concluded successfully with active participation from students and valuable insights from the judges.
Overall, the exhibition proved to be a great platform for showcasing innovation, enhancing technical skills, and encouraging creative thinking among students.
