Model United Nations (MUN) @ SMLA
The School of Management & Liberal Arts (SMLA) successfully organized a Model United Nations (MUN), providing students with a dynamic platform to engage in global discussions and develop diplomatic skills. A total of 30 country delegations were represented by students, who actively participated in deliberations on various global agendas. Each delegate demonstrated thorough research, strong articulation, and effective diplomatic engagement while representing their assigned countries.
The event followed a structured process, including formal debates, moderated caucuses, and unmoderated discussions, allowing participants to present their viewpoints, negotiate resolutions, and collaborate effectively. The simulation successfully replicated the functioning of international diplomatic forums, offering students valuable experiential learning and real-world exposure.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Shruti Pandey, HOD Humanities The seamless ex*****on of the event was the result of dedicated efforts by Ms. Neha Gupta, Ms. Hanisha Batra, along with the student coordination team.
The Model United Nations witnessed outstanding performances by participants, and the following students were recognized for their exceptional contributions:
1. Best Speaker: Shivam Sarkar and Pari (B.A. (Hons.), 2nd Semester)

🧑‍💻Industrial Visit on Data Science in DUCAT School of AI on 11-04-2026 for Diploma 1st & 2nd Year CSE students.🧑‍💻

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering successfully organized an industrial visit to Ducat School of AI on 11th April 2026. A total of 30 students, accompanied by 2 faculty members, participated in this educational visit.

The primary objective of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to Artificial Intelligence, with a special focus on Data Science, and to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices.

During the session, industry experts introduced students to key concepts of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science. The experts conducted insightful sessions highlighting modern tools, technologies, and real-world applications used in the industry. Special emphasis was given to Data Science techniques, including data analysis, visualization, and real-time implementation.

The visit also included live demonstrations and interactive discussions, which helped students understand how AI and Data Science solutions are developed and applied in real-world scenarios. Students actively participated, asked insightful questions, and showed great enthusiasm throughout the session.

Furthermore, experts shared valuable insights into current industry trends, career opportunities, and essential skills required to excel in the rapidly growing field of AI and Data Science.📕

⚖️ Legal Excellence on Display at SDGI Global University! ⚖️

The School of Law and Legal Studies, SDGI Global University proudly hosted the 2nd SGU Moot Court Competition, 2026 on 📅 April 17–18, 2026 at the SGU Campus.

With participation from 33 teams representing premier law institutions across states like Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh, the competition became a hub of intense legal intellect and advocacy. The moot proposition revolved around Constitutional Law and the Digital Cyber Security and Integrity Act, 2025.

✨ Inauguration Highlights
The event commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, graced by Retd. Justice Barket Ali Zaidi (Allahabad High Court) as the Chief Guest. He highlighted the importance of moot courts in bridging academic learning with courtroom practice.

From Classroom to Coca-Cola: A Refreshing Industrial Experience!

The School of Management and Liberal Arts, SDGI Global University, organized an insightful industrial visit to Coca-Cola Happiness Factory – Moon Beverages Ltd., Greater Noida, for BBA I & II Year students.
This visit provided students with valuable real-world exposure, helping bridge the gap between academic learning and corporate practices. Students explored key aspects like manufacturing processes, quality control, supply chain management, operational strategies, and CSR initiatives.
The visit was formally flagged off by Dr. Meenu Baliyan, Director-SMLA and Dr. Rashmi Chaudhary, Head of the BBA Department. The event was seamlessly coordinated by Ms. Anshika Goel, Ms. Tanu Chaudhary, and Ms. Mansi Tyagi.
The students were guided at the plant by Mr. Saurabh Singh Marketing Manager and Ms. Richa Gupta, Marketing executive at Moon Beverages Ltd.

The School of Education successfully organized an insightful webinar on 09th April 2026 on the topic “Help of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Classroom Teaching”.

🔥 Successful Seminar on “New Age Careers in Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0”

The School of Engineering and Technology, SDGI Global University successfully organized a special seminar on “New Age Careers in Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0” on 14th April 2026.

🎓 The seminar witnessed enthusiastic participation from B.Tech (Honours) students of CSE / AIML / AIDS / CS (1st, 2nd & 3rd year) and Diploma (SET) students (2nd & 3rd year).
👉 A total of 148 students attended the event.

✨ The session began with a warm welcome of the Chief Guest and Resource Person, Mr. Rakesh Tiwari (Regional Head, NAMTECH).
He was honored with a memento and a plant by HOD/CSE Dr. Kamlesh Kumar Gautam, along with Assistant Professors Mr. Rajendra Rajauria, Mr. Rohit Rana, and Mr. Bijoy Bose. 🌱

💡 During the session, the resource person elaborated on key concepts such as:
