Report on series of events organized under Entrepreneurship Pakhwada 2025
As per the directions of Department of Skill Development and Industrial Training, Dean Students Welfare, BPSMV organized a series of events to strengthen the ideology and efforts towards Women Entrepreneurship. Dr. Ishani Patharia, Assistant Dean Students Welfare co-ordinated of these events under the leadership of Prof. Shweta, Dean Students Welfare. The first event was organized on 21.08.25 where the online telecast of state level program on World Entrepreneurship program was telecasted in Sanskaram Sabhagaram and various other students joined the online link via their mobiles and laptops. The second event related to Entrepreneurship week (22.08.25 to 04.09.25) was organized on 26.08.25 by conducting a poster making competition on тАЬStrengthening Women EntrepreneurshipтАЭ in the Department of Commerce in which 13 students from various departments participated. The panel of judges (Prof. Jagdeep Singla, Department of Commerce; Dr. Ashish Hooda, Department of Fashion Technology; Dr. Monika, Institute of Teacher Training and Research) adjudged Ms. Sweeti (B. Ed. 1st sem.) as 1st, Ms. Kirti (B. Voc. (Fashion Technology) 5th sem.) as 2nd, Ms. Preeti (B. Ed. 1st sem.) as 3rd. The salogan writing competition on тАЬStrengthening Women EntrepreneurshipтАЭ event was organised on 27/08/2025 in the Department of Commerce in which 21 students from various departments participated. The panel of judges (Prof. Jagdeep Singla, Department of Commerce; Dr. Ashish Hooda, Department of Fashion Technology; Dr. Monika, Institute of Teacher Training and Research) adjudged Ms. Kirti (B.Voc) Fashion Technology as 1st, Ms. Aditi (BALLB) 3rd Sem. as 2nd and Ms. Renu Rani (B.Ed)1st Sem. as 3rd. The group discussion on тАЬStrategies to Inculcate Women Entrepreneurial Skills and Overcoming Challenges for Budding Women EntrepreneursтАЭ was organized on 27.08.2023 in the Department of Commerce in which 52 students from various departments participated. The panel of judges (Dr. Ishani, Department of Commerce, Dr. Kritika, Department of Laws, and Dr. Mahesh, MSM Institute of Ayurveda) adjudged Ms. Nidhi (M.Sc Physic) 3rd Sem. as 1st, Ms. Nitika (B.Ed) 1st Sem. as 2nd and Ms. Nidhi (BBA LLB)1st Sem. as 3rd.
All the winners were felicitated by Prof. Shweta, Dean Students Welfare. She motivated all the participants to spread the message of women entrepreneurship for self-reliance. The winners will participate in the district level competition that will be organized on 09.09.25 by the Nodal Officer, Entrepreneurship development for Haryana.
