A rapidly growing population and changing climatic conditions is causing demand for food to swell quickly, but the vulnerability of Agriculture to climate change is making it even more difficult for crop yields to meet demand..

With this point of view; KL college of Agriculture conducted on International webinar on "Towards Climate Smart Agriculture" on 15th of September 2021; the International webinar provided a platform to discuss about increasing sustainable productivity, strengthen farmer's resilience, reduce Agriculture's green house gas emissions and increase carbon sequestration.

Creating Cloud Security Alliance(CSA) throughout the world can mitigate harsh effects of changing climate as well as reduce poverty..
The Webinar also motivated young students to share their research findings and new ideas and interact with experts of subjects..

Students of Agriculture had actively interacted and clarified their doubts and shared their thoughts...

We are the students of KL University of ag bsc programme, had participated actively in field work as a part of our course..
We have done Irrigation, thinning, weeding, pest identification and harvesting over traches have allocated for a group of 5 students under strict professor guidance..
Firstly we did irrigation followed by water supply to land to help growth by the means of channels.. Later we sown the seeds like Bajra, Sugarcane, etc. After sowing seeds we have watered the land again for growth of plants. After some days the plants started growing by that time we have done weeding (removal of unwanted plants) from crop. Then after thinning which means removal of some plants to make room for growth of others, if crop is dense it will become more competition between them. So we have to do thinning process. After certain growth of plants pest identification is done. Later after harvesting means gathering useful part from plants...
Most of us got better yield.. And this is our part of practical work..

A teacher serves the society by instructing and guiding countless students through the different stages of their growth. A teacher plays a different roles in student's life. The teacher is a philosopher enlightening their students about the ways of the world. A part from their mothers, children spend maximum time with their teachers....

Teachers look after the best interests of the students and genuinely play an important role in the society. They can make or break a future generation: such is the power that rests in the hands of teachers.

With this view and the commemorate the birthday of Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Teacher's day celebrations were at KL college of Agriculture.

As a part of NSS (National Service Scheme) students of KL University took their part by various activities.

NSS volunteers generally work in villages, slums, and voluntary agencies to complete 120hrs of regular activities during an academic year.
Hence, it is of vital importance that a particular village/slum is selected for implementation of NSS programmes..

NSS volunteers of Agriculture department took part in plant distribution programme which was conducted in Ippatam , Guntur district.

Our fellow students are appreciated for their service and it is an important aspect to plant trees wherever possible...

On 22nd of march 2021, KL college of Agriculture celebrated "WORLD WATER DAY".... The theme is "VALUING WATER"
The value of water is about much more than its economic value water has enormous and complex value for our households, food, culture, education, economics and the integrity of our natural Environment....
For that theme Dept of Agriculture conducted an essay writing competition and our fellow students performed well..
And several students got a prizes for their best performance.....
"Water is life" is well known line and KLEF putting their efforts to save water.....
