Christalline - Alumni Meet – 14 March 2026
Since its establishment in 1981, our Geology Department has been more than just classrooms and laboratories—it has been a place where curiosity about the Earth was shaped into lifelong passion. Decades of students walked through these corridors carrying rock hammers, field notebooks, and dreams of understanding the planet beneath our feet.
We warmly invite all our alumni to join the Christalline Alumni Meet on 14 March 2026, a special gathering to reconnect with friends, mentors, and memories.
Those three unforgettable years in college were not only about lectures and practical classes. They were about friendships formed in the lab, long discussions over thin sections and maps, and the excitement of discovering a mineral or fossil for the first time. Most of all, they were about the field works—the early morning departures, dusty boots, climbing outcrops, measuring strike and dip under the sun, and learning geology directly from the rocks themselves. Those trips shaped not only our geological understanding but also our bond as a batch and as a department family.
This meeting will be even more special as our respected retired teachers will be joining us. They were the ones who guided us through stratigraphy, structural geology, petrology, and field mapping, patiently turning our curiosity into knowledge. Meeting them again will be an opportunity to express our gratitude for the foundations they laid in our lives and careers.
Let us come together to relive those memories—
the laughter in the classroom,
the excitement of field camps,
the friendships that have lasted decades,
and the pride of belonging to a department that began its journey in *1981*.
We look forward to seeing you on 14 March 2026.
Let us return once again to the place where our geological journey began.
