Sur Deul Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Jagiroad A number of former students of the institution have obtained CCRT Scholarship offered by Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India.

Sur Deul sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Jagiroad, a pioneer institution for Art & Music has been teaching subjects like Hindustani Music Vocal, Tabla, Guitar & Painting since its inception in 1983. A sizable number of students have been recognized by All India Radio Nagaon and Guwahati. More than 600 students have successfully acquired Diploma in Hindustani Music VOCAL, Tabla, Kathak Dance, Sitar & Violin

from Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapith, Lucknow, Painting from Bangiya Sangeet Parishad, West Bengal & Guitar from the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), London till date. Recently, 'Piano' has been introduced under the aegis of ABRSM, London.
