Why Celebrate Festival of Light by Polluting?

Is poisoning the air and water a reasonable way to recognize the Festival of Lights??

Is unnecessary air pollution a good way to celebrate Victory of Good over Evil..??

Is a few minutes of pyrotechnic entertainment really worth needlessly polluting the environment?

We need to be more environmentally responsible. When we buy fireworks we are buying the whole pollution cycle… from the beginning to the end of the product. We should be concerned about how all the pollutants related to fireworks can affect our environment and our health.

It really seems that the cheap thrills that fireworks provide are just an empty distraction and really have nothing to do with the actual true recognition of a particular holiday.

So, on this Diwali day, let us fill our entire beings with the light of God. Let us clean out our minds and hearts, making a true “fresh start.”

This year let’s have a smoke free and Green Diwali…

नमस्कार मित्रांनो दसऱ्याच्या पर्यावरण पूरक शुभेच्छा🌱☘

दरवर्षी दसरा साजरा होतो. *चुकीच्या आणि कालबाह्य* समजुतीवर आधारलेली *पाने* वाटण्याची प्रथा या निमित्ताने साजरी केली जाते.त्यामुळे आपट्याची म्हणजे सोन्याच्या पानांच्या हजारो झाडांची तोड होते.आणि दुसऱ्या दिवशी सोन्याचा पानांचा कचरा होतो. एक दिवस असा येईल की जंगलामध्ये हे आपट्याचे झाड दिसणार नाही.
कारण पुढच्या तीन चार महिन्यांनी फेब्रुवारी- एप्रिल मध्ये फुले येण्याचा कालावधी असतो. या झाडाला फांद्या नसल्या तर फुले धरणार कुठे? आणि फुल नाही शेंगा नाही तर नैसर्गिक रित्या बीज येणार कोठून..? हा प्रश्न आहे. त्यामुळे नवीन बी रुजणार नाही, रोप जंगलामध्ये वाढणार नाही.
आयुर्वेदामध्ये अश्मंतक म्हणजे मुतखडा होऊ न देणारा,पित्त, कफदोष, दाह, तृष्णा, प्रमेह यावर गुणकारी असलेला हा वृक्ष आहे.. मुरमाड खडकात कमी जास्त पावसाच्या प्रदेशात खडकाला भेगा पाडून पाणी जमिनीत खोलवर मुरवणारा हा वृक्ष आहे. त्यामुळे दसऱ्याची ही प्रथा आपल्याला पर्यावरण पूरक म्हणजे झाडाचे नुकसान न करता *स्वतः आपट्याची रोपे* करून त्या झाडाचे महत्व नागरिकांना पटवून देण्याची आज गरज आहे...
आपण आपल्या घर परिसरात, अंगणात ही झाडे लावू शकतो..
*महत्वाचे*
कांचन( _अपट्यापेक्षा जरा आकाराने मोठे असतात_) आणि आपटा यामध्ये फसगत होऊन कांचन चे पाने ओरबडले जातात..
निदान 5 लोकांना जरी माहिती सांगितली तरी खूप चांगली गोष्ट होईल.
