Cyber Security Seminar Inspires Students at Minerva Colleges
A seminar on Cyber Security was successfully organized at Minerva College of Education, where three renowned IT professionals—Mr. Sanjay Gilani, Mr. Saranpreet Singh, and Mr. Deepak Kumar—visited the campus to share their expertise with students.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Prashant Kumar Sharma, Principal, who felicitated the distinguished guests and addressed the gathering. In his inaugural speech, Dr. Sharma emphasized the growing importance of cyber security in today's digital world and encouraged students to stay informed about emerging cyber threats and adopt safe online practices.
The keynote session was delivered by Mr. Sanjay Gilani, who presented an insightful seminar on cyber security. He explained various forms of cybercrime, including phishing, ransomware, identity theft, and online fraud, while highlighting effective strategies to protect personal and professional data. He also discussed the significance of strong passwords, two-factor authentication, digital awareness, and responsible internet usage.
