Department of Social Work established in 2012, under the visionary leadership of its founder Vice Chancellor Prof. The broad aim of Department to strive to work towards inclusive and sustainable development and believe in promoting maximum human potential, skill development, equal opportunity, justice, respect for diversity and anti-discriminatory environment within the society. The pedagogy at the Department of Social Work, CURaj is a unique blend of different methodologies to imbibe theoretical knowledge and practice skills. A great emphasis is laid on building up the skills sets of students in contemporary techniques of developmental work. Department is equipped with dynamic young faculty members and young curious brain. The Department has earned their repute not only within the university but also in the local communities around the campus. Further, the Department of Social Work is actively involved in academic and field-based practices.
