Drishya 2026, the Arts Fest of Allied Health Sciences, transformed the campus into a celebration of talent and expression. “Enabling Representation and Civic Participation of Deaf Youth in Kerala through AI-Mediated Voice Communication in Visual Media.”

This interdisciplinary project explores the role of AI-driven accessibility, inclusive communication, and visual media in strengthening the civic participation of Deaf youth, with the aim of creating meaningful social impact through research and innovation.

The Football Turf at Amrita School of Medicine, Kochi Campus was inaugurated, bringing a state-of-the-art sports facility to campus. The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries and marked an important step towards promoting fitness, teamwork, and a vibrant campus life.

The turf was inaugurated by Shri Ravada Chandrasekhar, State Police Chief.
Shri Sreekandan Nair, renowned media personality and Editor of 24 News, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The event was attended by distinguished dignitaries including District Judge M. Tushar, Adv. K. The Football Turf at Amrita School of Medicine was inaugurated marking an exciting chapter for sports and student life at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi campus. Built with state-of-the-art facilities, the new turf reflects a strong commitment to fitness, teamwork, and holistic development.

The turf was inaugurated by State Police Chief Ravada Chandrasekhar, the chief guest of the function was, eminent journalist and 24 News Editor Sri Sreekandan Nair. The event was also graced by District Judge M. Thushar, Kalady Adi Shankara Institutions Managing Trustee Adv. K. Anand, Jeddah Chamber of Commerce Director Zakir Hussain Valiyakat, Amrita Hospitals Group Medical Director Dr. Prem Nair, Brahmachari Samsiddhamrutha Chaitanya, Dr. Jaggu Swamy, and Amrita School of Medicine Principal Dr. K. P. Girish Kumar.

The inauguration was followed by a spirited friendly football match between faculty and students, as the new turf came alive with enthusiasm, teamwork, and the joy of sport.
