14 सितंबर 2026 को राष्ट्रीय हिंदी दिवस के अवसर पर महर्षि यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ़ इन्फॉर्मेशन टेक्नोलॉजी, लखनऊ परिसर में महर्षि स्कूल ऑफ़ ह्यूमैनिटीज द्वारा, आईक्यूएसी के सहयोग से, “हिंदी दिवस” समारोह का आयोजन विश्वविद्यालय के ऑडिटोरियम में हाइब्रिड मोड (ऑफलाइन एवं ऑनलाइन) में किया गया। इस वर्ष के आयोजन का मुख्य विषय “काव्य सृजन: परंपरा से आधुनिकता की ओर” रखा गया, जिसके अंतर्गत ‘काव्य पाठ प्रतियोगिता’ का आयोजन हुआ। प्रतिभागियों ने पारंपरिक स्वरचित कविता तथा आधुनिक अभिव्यक्ति की श्रेणियों में अपनी काव्य-प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन किया।

कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ पारंपरिक गुरु पूजन के साथ हुआ, जिसके पश्चात अधिष्ठाता डॉ. सरिता वर्मा ने उपस्थित अतिथियों, निर्णायकों एवं प्रतिभागियों का हार्दिक स्वागत करते हुए हिंदी भाषा एवं भारतीय संस्कृति के प्रति विश्वविद्यालय की प्रतिबद्धता को रेखांकित किया। इसके उपरांत अधिष्ठाता (शैक्षणिक) डॉ. नीरज जैन ने अपने प्रेरणादायक संबोधन में विद्यार्थियों को मातृभाषा के माध्यम से रचनात्मक अभिव्यक्ति हेतु प्रोत्साहित किया।

माननीय कुलपति प्रो. (डॉ.) भानु प्रताप सिंह ने अपने प्रेरणादायी उद्बोधन में हिंदी भाषा के ऐतिहासिक महत्व के साथ-साथ वर्तमान डिजिटल युग में उसकी बदलती भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला तथा विद्यार्थियों को परंपरा और आधुनिकता के समन्वय से नवीन काव्य-सृजन हेतु प्रेरित किया।
कार्यक्रम के मार्गदर्शक सत्र में विश्वविद्यालय के माननीय कुलाधिपति श्री अजय प्रकाश श्रीवास्तव ने अपने उद्बोधन में हिंदी भाषा को राष्ट्रीय अस्मिता एवं सांस्कृतिक विरासत का प्रतीक बताते हुए विद्यार्थियों को जीवन में हिंदी के व्यापक प्रयोग हेतु प्रेरित किया।

कार्यक्रम की मुख्य कड़ी ‘काव्य पाठ’ जिसमें प्रतिभागियों ने दो श्रेणियों — पारंपरिक स्वरचित कविता एवं आधुनिक अभिव्यक्ति (मौखिक काव्य एवं लयात्मक वाचन) — में अपनी प्रस्तुतियाँ दीं। निर्णायक मंडल द्वारा कंठस्थता, उच्चारण, भावाभिव्यक्ति, लय-ताल तथा मौलिकता जैसे मानदंडों के आधार पर प्रतिभागियों का मूल्यांकन किया गया। सभागार में विद्यार्थियों के उत्साहपूर्ण एवं भावपूर्ण काव्य-पाठ ने सभी उपस्थित श्रोताओं को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया।
कार्यक्रम का समापन डॉ. विजय श्रीवास्तव द्वारा प्रस्तुत धन्यवाद ज्ञापन के साथ हुआ, जिसमें उन्होंने सभी अतिथियों, निर्णायकों, प्रतिभागियों एवं आयोजन टीम के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया।

Maharishi University of Information Technology (Lucknow Campus) at IBM National Hackathon 2026

A proud moment for Maharishi University of Information Technology, Lucknow Campus, as our students represented the University at the *IBM National Hackathon 2026 Final, held from 11–13 September 2026 at Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Our team successfully qualified through the earlier qualifying round and earned the opportunity to compete at the national final alongside teams from 16 states and around 77 universities across India.

Team Members:
Mr. Ankush Yadav (B.Tech VII), Mr. Pawan Kumar Yadav, Ms. Kanchan Verma & Ms. Rashika (B.Tech V) of Maharishi School of Engineering & Technology (Lucknow Campus). They were accompanied by Mr. Abhay Bajpai (Astt Prof., MSOET, Lucknow Campus).
During the final round, the team was challenged with a real-world road-safety problem and developed *“Road Safety Ecosystem”, an innovative data-driven approach focusing on risk mapping, risk scoring and cause analysis to support safer roads.

The participation was fully supported by Maharishi University of Information Technology, Lucknow Campus, which bore the students’ travel expenses, reflecting the University’s strong commitment to student development, innovation and national-level exposure.
We are proud of our students and their spirit of innovation, and we look forward to seeing them achieve even greater success in the future.

On 10th September 2026, the Alumni Cell of Maharishi University, Lucknow Campus, in association with IQAC, successfully hosted Series 2.2 of its flagship initiative – Alumni Connect 2026, on the theme “Modern Drug Development and Clinical Research Standards.”

The session featured Mr. Abhishek Mishra (B. Pharm., 2020–24), currently working as a Business Development Officer (BDO) at Percos India Pvt. Ltd., Lucknow.
Drawing from his professional journey and industry experience, Mr. Mishra shared valuable insights into modern drug development and clinical research standards, highlighting contemporary practices, industry expectations, career opportunities, and the skills required for a successful career in the pharmaceutical and clinical research domain.

The interactive session encouraged the students to enhance their technical competencies for industry readiness.

Dr. Pavan Kumar, Dean, MSOPS; and DSW Dr. Shikhar Verma also addressed the students.

On 10th September 2026, the MIRC and Maharishi School of Agriculture (Maharishi University, Lucknow Campus) in association with IQAC, organized an educational visit for B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture students to ICAR–Indian Institute of Pulses Research (IIPR), Kanpur.
With valuable insights from the scientists of ICAR–IIPR, the students visited and explored the Crop Improvement Division, Crop Production Division, Crop Protection Division, Seed Technology and Plant Physiology-related facilities, and Food Science and Processing research facilities. The students interacted with Dr. Neeraj Kumar, Scientist, ICAR–IIPR, regarding varietal development and pulse crop improvement; Dr. Nandini Yadav, Scientist, ICAR–IIPR, regarding advanced production practices; Dr. P. K. Arya, Scientist, ICAR–IIPR, regarding pest and disease surveillance and management; Dr. Usha Singh, Scientist, ICAR–IIPR, regarding seed quality and technology; Dr. N. K. Yadav, Scientist, ICAR–IIPR, regarding plant physiology and crop growth; and Dr. M. Singh, Scientist, ICAR–IIPR, regarding pulse processing, food science, and post-harvest utilization.

The visit provided practical academic exposure to pulse crop breeding and improvement, advanced cultivation practices, crop health management, seed science, plant physiology, processing technologies, and post-harvest utilization. It enhanced the students’ understanding of contemporary agricultural research and the application of scientific innovations for sustainable pulse production.
The visit was co-ordinated by Mrs. Pragya Tiwari and Dr. Ankit Singh Yadav, Faculty Members, MSOA, Lucknow Campus.
