From attending classes 5 minutes early just to not miss a lecture to learning concepts so clearly that he still applies them today in machine learning and programming - that’s what made the difference.

Alumni Talk | Opportunities in Pharmaceutical Drug Regulatory Affairs

The School of Pharmacy & Research, Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, successfully organized an insightful Alumni Talk on “Opportunities in Pharmaceutical Drug Regulatory Affairs”

The session was delivered by Alumnus Mr. Umang Jha, Executive – Export Drug Regulatory Affairs, who provided an in-depth perspective on the evolving landscape of regulatory affairs in the global pharmaceutical industry. He highlighted how Regulatory Affairs (RA) has transformed into a strategic function influencing drug development, clinical trial design, compliance strategy, labeling, and market access.

The talk served as a comprehensive career-orientation platform for Pharmacy students (1st, 2nd & 3rd Year), offering clarity on national and international career pathways, emerging regulatory trends, required competencies, and industry expectations. Students gained valuable insights into skill development, certifications, and the growing global demand for regulatory professionals.

At Alumni Meet ’25, these memory games turned into story sessions - “remember this?”, “oh wow, that day!” - with smiles that said everything.
