Saturday’s Gurudakshina Visit Drive was truly enriching, with enthusiastic participation from alumni of the 1996–2005 batches.

The visit turned into a wonderful interaction, with lively discussions around the magnificent Gurudakshina Complex and its immense potential to become a vibrant, happening destination for alumni and their families.

Several valuable suggestions emerged on how we can activate the space with regular alumni gatherings, family-oriented activities, networking, learning, celebrations and community events, making Gurudakshina a place where alumni would love to return time and again.

The energy, ideas and affection shown by the young alumni reaffirmed one thing—Gurudakshina is not just a building; it has the potential to become the living heart of the VNIT Alumni community.

Despite the dark clouds looming over the skies, the enthusiasm of our alumni shone even brighter.

Batchmates from 1986 to 1990 visited Gurudakshina, and for many of them, it was their first-ever visit to witness this magnificent alumni landmark. They were truly impressed by the scale, vision, and the world-class facilities being created for present and future generations of VNIT alumni.

The visit was filled with nostalgia, pride, and excitement as everyone appreciated the remarkable progress of Gurudakshina—a dream project built by alumni, for alumni.

Senior Alumni Visit to Gurudakshina

Despite the drizzling rain and their age, our respected senior alumni (Batch of 1976_1980) enthusiastically visited Gurudakshina and appreciated its vision, progress, and future potential.
Mr. Vivek Deshpande, Chairman, VNITAA, explained the operational model of Gurudakshina, while Former Chairman Mr. Shashikant Chaudhary highlighted how the e-Classrooms and Co-working Spaces can foster a vibrant startup ecosystem. Mr. Ashok Agarwala admired the beautiful landscape surrounding the Gurudakshina complex and shared that it will become a perfect destination for alumni to spend quality time whenever they visit their alma mater.
The visit concluded with a delightful cup of hot tea and crispy Mung Vadas, making the rainy Saturday even more memorable. The tour was led by our young Directors – Kamlesh Laddhad, Aditya Tohare, Gayatri Vyas, Siddharth Shah, and Lankesh Dhandale.
A wonderful blend of experience, vision, youthful energy, and the spirit of VNITAA.
