Freemasons celebrate Universal Brotherhood Day annually on June 24 renewing their commitment to the principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth. Here are a few photographs from a fraction of the community service activities undertaken from across the country.
Freemasons of Lodge Gorakhpur No. 157, Lodge Nagendra No.348, Lodge Rapti No. 355 and the Gorakhnath Past Masters Lodge No. 286 distributed essentials to the leprosy patients of Baba Raghava Das Ashram, while members of Lodge Nagendra No. 348 served refreshments to the public.
The freemasons of Lodge Anchor and Hope No. 1, Kolkata provided need based essentials to Cheshire Homes India, while those of Lodge Dhanbad No. 95 organised a blood donation camp at the Government Medical College, Dhanbad.
Lodge Calicut No. 237 extended much needed financial support to Ashanikethan Home for the Mentally challenged, Koyilandi, while Freemasons of Lodge Cannanore No. 234 and Lodge Western Star No. 363 provided schoolbags to the girls of Mookambika Balika Sadan, Kannur. The Masons of Kannur also had a Masonic Walk, followed by distribution of saplings.
