In the final round of Vishleshan, the Analytics contest, teams from various prestigious B-schools presented their data analysis. The judge for the event, Mr. Gaurabh Singhvi, is an analytics manager at Anheuser-Busch InBev. He had three parameters for judging - skill demonstrated in analyzing the case, ability to defend a particular position or strategy, and overall quality of the presentation. He thanked the department and congratulated the students who made it to the last round. Towards the end, he gave the overall feedback to the participants which would help them improve in the future.

Datamatics - The Analytics Club of the Department of Finance and Business Economics, University of Delhi, successfully hosted its flagship event, 'VISHLESHAN', on 26 February 2022. It was a spellbinding event where the students were graced by the presence of eminent personalities, namely:

Mr. Charit R Agarwal
Mr. Sumit Suri
Mr. Satyam Dwivedi
Mr. Vinal Reddy C B

Moderating the discussion, Mr. Charit R Agarwal and the illustrious panelists engrossed the students on the topic 'Role of Storytelling in People Analytics'. The discussion rolled over to how storytelling is the lowest common denominator which can be easily perceivable by everyone and can be understood by all the stakeholders. The panelists also highlighted some of the best practices data analysts could adopt when weaving narratives into their data insights. They walked the students through the three P's of compelling storytelling, which involves Personalization, Process and Presentation.
The panel concluded the highly insightful session by explaining why there is a need to put quality and diversity in your work. Also, to attract the audience and keep their attention, it is essential to understand the importance of a key message or a summary slide.

Datamatics, The Analytics Club of the Department of Finance and Business Economics, University of Delhi, hosted its flagship event VISHLESHAN on 26 February 2022. The theme for this year was 'Business Analytics: The Futuristic Savoir.' The topic for the first panel discussion was 'Smart Analytics.'

Dr. Kamlesh Kumar- Chief Technology Officer, Virtue Analytics Inc.
Mr. Ashish Gupta- Senior Director - Digital & Advanced Analytics, Course5 Intelligence
Mr. Arun Goyal- Vice President, CitiGlobal Analytics and Insights

The moderator for the event, Mr. Arun Goyal, commenced the session by asking the panelists to explain their line of work. Later it was discussed that smart analytics is a growing continuum and requires a constant feedback loop to be efficient. We need to move with the data for the latest updates and figure out ways to assimilate this to help businesses make better decisions. The misconception and challenges in analytics were also points of discussion. Towards the end, panelists discussed the tools and skills campus students could focus on to strive in the data science field.

Datamatics - The Analytics Club of The Department of Finance and Business Economics, University of Delhi, successfully organized its annual Data Analytics fest Vishleshan on 26th February 2022. The speaker for the event was Mr. Himanshu Ghawri, Executive Director at PwC India, who shared his insights on the topic “How Businesses realize value using ArtiticiaI Intelligence.”

Mr. Ghawri started the discussion by explaining how the digitalization of AI enhances the productivity and profitability of businesses. He then explained how businesses are moving from Descriptive to Cognitive Analytics and automation to Autonomous Intelligence. He also talked about the eight technologies, namely AI, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality IoT, Blockchain, 3D printing, Robotics, and Drones, and their impact on businesses. The highly interactive and knowledgeable session ended with case studies on automobiles, pharmaceuticals, entertainment business, and payment systems, where he explained how the adoption of AI had helped these industries add new value.

Mr. Singhvi is an analytics manager at Anheuser-Busch InBev. He is well versed with analytics and has over four years of experience as a data scientist.
He has completed his Bachelor of Technology - Chemical Engineering from the esteemed Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

Datamatics – The Analytics Club of the Department of Finance and Business Economics, University of Delhi is here with the annual Data Analytics fest VISHLESHAN to be held on 26 February 2022. The theme for this year is 'Business Analytics: The Futuristic Savoir,' and the occasion will be honored by Mr. Himanshu Ghawri as the Chief Guest.
Mr. Ghawri is currently working as the Executive Director at PwC India. A Six Sigma certified professional, he has more than 20 years of business analytics applications design, implementation, and client handling experience in the technology consulting profession in India & USA. He has expertise in the domains of Data Analytics, AI, and Machine Learning and experience working in the public sector and manufacturing organizations. He also has experience working across multiple geographies and has cross-cultural exposure. His current role has been to expand and grow the Data & Analytics practice by establishing and farming relationships at the CXO level of Clients, Partners & Industry Groups.
