Pratik Nalawade, the student of 2nd Year MBA sports management & Marketing has recently finished the International Triathlon Named IRONMAN 70.3 which was held in Goa India. This is India's one of the Toughest Triathlon events in which one has to Swim for 1.9 km in open sea water along with 90.1 km cycling finishing with a 21.1km run. He finished this within 6.55.24 hr and got the 12th Rank in the category.

The Conclave was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Tapan Panda Sir (Pro VC, MITWPU), Prof. Dr. Srinivas Subbarao (Dean & Director, SOM-PG), Mr. Sanjay Tamhankar (Director, Supplier Quality Improvement, Cummins India), Mr. Pranav Waichal (Head Procurement, TE Connectivity India Transportation Solutions), Mr. Tejsinh Pisal (MBA Operations Alumnus and Supply Chain Analyst, Danfoss India), Ms. Anushka Kapoor (MBA Operations Alumnus and Global Logistics Associate, Tetrapack), Dr. Rahul Dandage (Associate Professor & Program Head, MBA-Operations), Dr. Adwait Oak (Asst. Professor, MBA-Operations & Faculty Advisor-Operations & SC Forum), Dr. Ramkrishna Manatkar (Professor, MBA-Operations), Mr. Samihan Kulkarni (President, Operations & SC Forum), all Committee members of Operations and SC Forum and Student participants. The New Logo of Operations and SC forum was unveiled by Prof. Dr. Tapan Panda Sir followed by unveiling of 25th Edition of OPS-SPECTRA magazine by all dignitaries. Mr. Pranav Waichal briefed regarding the role of Procurement in SC. Mr. Sanjay Tamhankar conducted a wonderful session on "Basics of Situational Leadership". The session was followed by presentations of SIP competition finalists which were evaluated by both Industry experts. Ms. Akanksha Kulkarni was awarded as first rank in the SIP presentation competition. Mr Samihan Kulkarni proposed the vote of Thanks.

Operations Forum at Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University's School of Management-PG is organizing One day Operations Forum Conclave on 12th November, 2022.
The Conclave will have unveiling of 25th Edition of the Operations Forum Magazine: OPS-SPECTRA, a guest session on Basics of Situational Leadership followed by Summer Internship Competition final round presentations.

Student Attendees will be awarded with the Certificate of Attendance. Registration can be done by scanning the QR code.

The Operations Forum Conclave is Coordinated by Dr. Adwait Oak (Faculty Advisor-Operations Forum) and Dr. Rahul Dandage (Program Head, MBA-Operations) with the support from all faculty members, AHOS and under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Srinivas Subbarao Sir (Dean & Director, SOM-PG) and Prof. Dr. Tapan Panda Sir (Pro Vice Chancellor, MIT-WPU).

1. 25th August 2022: Session on "TQM and Process Improvement in Projects" by Prof. Dr. Balram Tyagi (Professor, LBS Institute of Management, Delhi) who has more than 25 years experience in leadership roles in Engineering, Defence, Mining & Construction and ITeS industry.
2. 05th September 2022: Alumni Interaction by Mr. Jeffin Josef (Field Service Manager, Xiaomi India, Bangalore) on the topic "Role of Field Service Manager, Expectations of Employers and guidelines to face the recruitment drives"
3. 03rd October 2022: Alumni Interaction by Mr. Amardip Patil (Associate Analyst, Eaton Pune) on the topic "Expectations of Employers, effective working as Student Placement Representative and guidance on skills & knowledge upgradation for selection in the campus recruitment drives"
4. 17th October 2022: Session on "Product Management" by Mr. Paresh Teredesai (Sr. Product Manager, Plex Systems INC) who has more than 15 years of Industry and Academic experience.
5. 17th October 2022: Session on "SAP for Operations Managers" by Mr. Sanket S. who has 10 years of Industry experience as SAP consultant.
