UWC Mahindra College's Experiential Short Programs! The emphasis is on meaningful activity around purposeful change - and the impact has been exciting!

UWC Mahindra College offers a number of short course each year which combine focused activity and learning within an engaging UWC experience. Each of these programmes provides an opportunity to enjoy the splendour of our remarkable location with challenging and inspiring programmes of discovery, reflection and practical engagement. UWC faculty and students are involved in running many of these pro

grammes and this creates an enthralling microcosm of the wider UWC experience. Our Outreach Programmes include courses covering a wide range of interests and issues - from culture, the environment and sustainability to global affairs, leadership and community engagement. Previous participants have described the challenging and transformative educational experience as a powerful and defining one, inspiring them to create a more peaceful and sustainable future.

YES, it's back! Registrations are now open for Youth, Environment and Sustainability (YES), a 1-week programme focused on environment and conservation issues in India. Our campus sits on a hill in a biodiversity reserve in the Western Ghats, and YES students work with environmental & sustainability NGOs over multiple field trips and hands-on project work that encourage us to engage with complex questions of development and conflict, globalisation and consumerism, and culture and technology.

The course aims to provide knowledge, experience, skills and inspiration while exploring the challenges around sustainability areas like solid waste management, water resource management, renewable energy, agriculture & forestry and human habitats. Through an investigation of these sectors from multiple perspectives, you will leave the program equipped to make informed and sustainable choices as well as lead projects of change within your communities.
