It is with great sadness that we inform that our beloved Faculty member, Ms Saba Naz, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, passed away last night after a protracted illness. Her abrupt passing has left us in disbelief. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the bereaved family.

A nation's growth depends on its engineers as they are at the forefront of innovation, problem-solving and technological advancement. The day encourages the younger generation to consider engineering as a career choice and serves as a reminder of the value of engineering in our daily lives. In the field of engineering, Sir Visvesvaraya was a pioneer who significantly influenced the growth of India's infrastructure. He was instrumental in the development of dams, irrigation networks and other projects. We celebrate his legacy and the significant contributions that engineers have made to India's development and modernization.

India's Chandrayaan 3 mission achieves greatness as it lands on uncharted lunar territory and becomes the first country to land on Moon’s South Pole. A leap for space exploration and national pride!

ISRO achieves lunar landmark with Chandrayaan 3! Launched on July 14, 2023, this mission marks India's exceptional leap in lunar exploration. The Vikram lander, a tribute to Vikram Sarabhai, and the Pragyan rover, embodying "wisdom," are now active on the moon's surface. Equipped with a drill and advanced instruments, Vikram will delve 2 meters into the lunar soil, unraveling secrets of its composition and water ice presence. Meanwhile, Pragyan's camera, spectrometer, and magnetometer, along with its quake-detecting prowess, promise groundbreaking lunar surface insights.
