Memorable Educational Visit!
We had the valuable opportunity to visit the Salem District Court today, where the Hon’ble Judge graciously interacted with our students. The session was both informative and inspiring, as the Judge explained various aspects of law, crime, and justice in a simple and engaging manner. It was a great experience that helped students understand the legal system better. Grateful for this insightful exposure! 📚⚖️

Mega Herbal Exhibition at Sivaraj Siddha Medical College

A grand Herbal Plants Exhibition was successfully conducted at Sivaraj Siddha Medical College on 30.10.2025 on the occassion of the birth anniversary of our lovable Chairman, Shri Sivaraj Sanjay. The event was organized by the Department of Medicinal botany in Gunapadam (Pharmacology) and showcased more than 250 medicinal plants and over 200 Siddha herbal medicinal raw drugs.

The program was inaugurated by Smt. Sivaraj Kalppana, Chair woman of Sivaraj Group of Institutions, who lit the ceremonial lamp to mark the commencement of the event.

Mr. Arulananda Raj, Veerapandi Block Development Officer, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his special address, he highlighted the importance of Siddha medicinal plants and their relevance in traditional healthcare practice

The Principal , faculty members ,and administrative staff were organizing the event successfully.

Teachers, staff, and students from various nearby schools, along with general public, enthusiastically participated and benefitted from this mega botanical exhibition.

As a special highlight of the event, free tree saplings and medicinal plant saplings were distributed to all participants, promoting environmental awareness and the spread of herbal medicine.

We were delighted to host the nursing students from Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College, Salem, for an insightful industrial visit at *Sivaraj Siddha Medical College*.
The students explored the traditional world of Siddha medicine, observed the preparation of various formulations, and learned about the specialized equipment involved.
They also toured our rich medicinal garden and witnessed demonstrations of key therapies including *Yoga*, *Varmam*, and *external treatments*, gaining a deeper understanding of holistic healing in Siddha
