Along with this, poster presentations, fire-free cooking, and rangoli competitions were organized for students. The students actively participated and gained valuable learning experiences. The students were educated on the critical protocols of Basic Life Support (BLS). The session provided hands-on insights into emergency management, life-saving interventions, and the systematic approach to handling cardiac or respiratory arrests.
The participants gained vital knowledge on:

The technique of high-quality chest compressions.

One day IV Visit 3 places on 13.3.26 - For II Prof BSMS batch as a part of NCISM syllabus for the Department of Sattam Saarndha Maruthuvamum Nanju Maruthuvamum.

*In Irular Herbal Pharmacy and Hospital* - Students learned the traditional herbal medicine preparation, identification of medicinal plants, and the role of indigenous tribal knowledge in treating various diseases.

*At the Irular Snake Catchers and Venom Extraction Cooperative Society* , students observed snake identification, snake-handling techniques, and the process of venom extraction. Also different venomous and non-venomous snake species, the importance of antivenom production.

*At DakshinaChitra* , students explored the rich cultural heritage, traditional lifestyles, and indigenous practices of South India

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Sivaraj Medical College organized a Free Women’s Health Camp at the college campus to promote women’s health and wellness.
The camp focused on complete women’s healthcare, including Pap Smear testing and gynecological consultation. Many women from Salem and nearby areas benefited from this initiative.
The camp was organized and led by Dr. Shweta Rishi, who personally provided medical consultations and guidance to the patients.
At Sivaraj Medical College, we strongly believe in our motto — “Sivaraj Cares.”
As part of our commitment to community health, we regularly conduct free medical camps and awareness programs for the benefit of people in and around Salem.
Organizations and community groups interested in organizing medical camps can collaborate with us for the betterment of public health.
