Scientific temperament is an individual's attitude of logical and rational thinking towards science and technology. Exalting this temperament, inspires children towards scientific explorations and experimentations in future. There are established organizations to conduct clubs and workshops in the field of science and technology. Ryan International School, Sriperumbudur has organized an interactive session with one such organization, “Space”. A well-versed team from this organization conducted an orientation program on “Space Astronomy Club” and “Space Explorers workshop” on 15th April 2024. Children from grade 3 to 9 have actively participated in the session.

Teachers from all the sections of class 1 conducted a wonderful activity of building a Noun tree…Children have to think about the type of the noun and to stick to an appropriate branch. This activity not only strengthens the knowledge of the nouns but also encourages a teamwork to build a tree together. Here are the few snaps children doing the activity.

National Young Authors’ Fair 2023 (NYAF 2023) is the world’s largest book writing and publishing event for students. We are glad that students at RYAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, SRIPERUMBUDUR grabbed the opportunity and brought out their authorship skills.
This program not only encouraged the children to be young authors, also made them learn entrepreneur talents while publishing, promoting and selling their books.

Children from class 3rd to 12th have actively participated in the program qualifying our school at National Level as one of the best schools in the country for promoting literacy excellence. The school is bestowed with the prestigious NATIONAL LITERARY LEADERSHIP AWARD.

The Academic Year 2023-24 is very remarkable for RYAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, SRIPERUMBUDUR with our students achieving TWO NATIONAL AWARDS. The winners are Ms. Tessa Maria Alex from class 3 – Young Sudha and Mst. Jonathan Rinu Vargese from class 5 – Young Tagore.

Ryan Championship programs are specially designed to bring out special skills inherent in children like oratory, leadership, social awareness etc., It’s a grand accomplishment to be a winner at National level after an incredible journey by contending thousands of students across the country among Ryan group of schools at several levels.

Graduation for Montessori is a unique experience to our tiny tots as they walk into receive their graduation and walkout as big kids to enter into a genre of primary education. Ryan International School Sriperumbudur celebrated Graduation Day, themed “Building a Better Future” on 24th February 2024 with a great zest and zeal. The event was fantabulous with the energetic and colorful performances of our sweet pops.

Eminent guests having tremendous reach in their respective fields have graced the occasion. Kind presence of respected Doris Miss, Zonal Academic Head, Ryan group of Institutions brought magnificence to the occasion.

The program started with a prayer to almighty. The honorary guests were welcomed in three different languages and felicitated with mementos. Theme oriented performances with interim award ceremonies made the entire event vivacious throughout.

Musical skit enacted by children is a way meritorious. They are incredibly adorable in their vibrant costumes, props. The event concluded with vote of thanks, school and national anthems.

We are so happy to witness contentment in parents throughout the program and are grateful to receive many appreciations. We thank all the parents who have devoted their time not only for their child’s performance, but also encouraged other children too with their presence throughout.

Interactive sessions with well-known celebrities improve social interacting skills for children. They do get inspiration from their lives and understand that no goal is easy to reach , but needs lot of determination and hard work.

February Month’s interactive session is with a veteran Indian actress Rohini Hattangdi known for her best work in Marathi, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Gujarati films and TV serials. Mrs. Rohini Hattangdi won two Film fare and one National Award for her exemplary acting. Her role as Kasturba Gandhi in film Gandhi directed by Richard Attenborough and Ben Kingsley in the lead role has won the prestigious BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) award.

Students from 9th standard at Ryan International School, Sriperumbudur had a live interactive session with the actress on 14th February 2024. The session was quite lively and students have asked questions like, “being a Marathi actress what were the experiences and challenges in acting southern movies especially Tamil”. Also students requested the actress to enact on her favourite scene and dialogue and the actress with utmost cheerfulness and humbleness enacted and made children happy.

Young Mickey, an All India Ryan Championship program designed for 2nd Standard students helps them get introduced to public eloquence and staging skills. With the guidance of their teachers through various workshops and brilliant encouragement from parents , these tiny tots stood on the stage confidently.

Young mickey’s specially designed theme “Making Friends” facilitates students to get know each other and build friendships and thus contributes to their social interactive skills.

We congratulate our School Level Winner Ms. T. Laksh*tha and wish her all success in upcoming state and national level rounds. We also thank parents who spared time to be part of the event. Here are the beautiful snaps of these toddlers proving their skills.

Students from 8th Standard have participated in Ryan Championship Program-Young Ambedkar. The motif of the activity is to understand the diversified India in different possible angles and present their understanding to the best.
After receiving systematic guidance from teachers, students have explored and presented most interesting facts about India. This indeed provides a firm grip on the physical/social/economic aspects of our country to the students. Winners from class rounds have contended at School level.

Ryan championship programs designed for expressive model of education encourages children to express their views openly and thus results in confident oratory skills and presentation skills. Depending on the age group, these programs are conducted at various levels.
Here are the glimpses of Ryan championship program-Young Tagore for Class 5 designed to explore books conducted at RYAN INTENRATIONAL SCHOOL , SRIPERUMBUDUR. This activity certainly promotes habit of book reading in children.
All the sections of Class 5 students were contending at Class level and the winners from this level competed at School level. The selection of winner at each level is through voting.
Now the School round Champion MST. JONATHAN RINU VARGHESE who spellbound audience with his confident speech and body language is going to contend at State level. We congratulate Mst. Jonathan Rinu Varghese and wish him success in the upcoming levels.

RYAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL SRIPERUMBUDUR congratulates all the students who participated in the REPUBLIC DAY KID AND JUNIOR ATHLETIC CHAMPION SHIP 2024 conducted by Kanchipuram District Athletic Association and organized by Sriperumbudur Athletic Club at Savitha University and Medical College campus , Tandalam on 27th January 2024.

On 26th January 2024, REPUBLIC DAY has been celebrated at RYAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL – SRIPERUMBUDUR with great enthusiasm and a patriotic fervour. Various activities, including flag hoisting, March past and cultural programs were conducted to make children understand the significance of the day. Inspirational speech by the honourable chief guest Dr. Bobby, Assistant professor, Om shanti college of Education impressed students well. The event was concluded with national anthem. Students have definitely received a message to hold upon the democratic values and work towards a better society that stands by the principles of the great Constitution.

Culture plays an important role in binding people together , let it be a community, a state or a Nation. System of education imbibes such values of culture in children by celebrating all the festivals of the nation with children. RYAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL - SRIPERUMBUDUR do follow the practice, and organizes various activities that can imprint the value of culture in the little hearts.

Pongal being the important festival celebrated across the country, at RYAN, we conducted various activities from Mont to 12th standard. Activities like Rangoli Design Making, Pot painting, theme based colouring activities for Primary children, Running race and Sack race kind of sports activities have been conducted. Children in the special assembly performed various cultural activities emphasizing the importance of farming & harvesting which the festival is mainly connected to.

We wish our children to be strongly bonded with our Nation’s culture thus to become good citizens going forward.

SCHOOL FAREWELLS are indeed good as students henceforward embrace a colossal change in their life and step into a new facet of education all together. Farewell is a good occasion for children to commemorate their school life, time spent with teachers and friends and an opportunity to get wished by them for the prosperous future.

Farewell for the academic year 2023-24 was conducted on 3rd January 2024. Dr. Snehal Pinto Mam , Director-Ryan group of Institutions, graced the occasion with a charming smile throughout.

The day was on full swing, started with a special assembly, followed by worship songs and special prayers for the children appearing board exams for their success and the great after-school life.
Children shared their memories and expressed their gratitude towards the school and the teachers.

A candle light passing ceremony was conducted to symbolize the transfer of knowledge , wisdom and responsibility to the student council of 11th standard.

Ryan awards in the areas of Academics, Dance, Singing , All-round performance, Ryan Prince and Princess were presented.

A Math Activity for introducing decimal numbers for primary children was conducted using number discs. Children now are good at expanding numbers. Be delighted watching these little lads playing with numbers.
