Celebrating a Legacy. Honouring a Mentor. 🌟

RAE Team of Parul University came together to celebrate and bid a heartfelt farewell to Dr. GOPALAKRISHNA MURTHY PAIDIPATI - a visionary researcher, dedicated mentor, and an integral pillar of this institution for over 14 remarkable years.

The event was graciously hosted by the RAE Projects team, colleagues who worked alongside Dr. Murthy through years of impactful, globally recognised research. Together, they reflected on his extraordinary journey - from leading pioneering Royal Academy of Engineering projects in collaboration with L&T Power and the University of Surrey, UK, to shaping the research culture at Parul University from the ground up.

The event was also graced by the presence of Registrar Prof. Manish Pandya. Dr. Murthy’s Researches were shared in the form of Stories, contributions were celebrated, and a memento was presented - not just as a token, but as a symbol of immense gratitude from everyone whose work and life he touched.

Dr. Murthy, your dedication to research, your quiet strength, and your unwavering commitment have left a mark that no farewell can erase. The work you led will continue to inspire long after this chapter closes.

Thank you for everything, Sir. This is not a goodbye - it is a celebration of all that you have built. 🙏

Congratulations to our researchers on their publication in Process Biochemistry (Scopus & SCI indexed, Q2 journal).

Their research explores innovative sewage wastewater treatment using a cyanobacteria-graphene nanohybrid. The study demonstrates the effectiveness of this bioprocessing approach by conducting anti-oxidant analysis and evaluating its direct impact on the seed germination of Vigna radiata.

The work also integrates AI-assisted models to optimize the bioprocessing framework, enabling smarter, more sustainable solutions for wastewater management and improving outcomes for real-world agricultural and environmental applications.

🌿 What if the solution to some of our biggest health and environmental challenges was already living all around us?

That question sat at the heart of our One-Day Workshop on Microbial Cells as Green Bio-foundries for Therapeutics and Environmental Remediation, held on 11th April 2026 at the Micro-Nano Research & Development Center, Parul University.

We were honoured to have Dr. Gunjan Sharma, Assistant Professor, Department of Plant Biotechnology, Gujarat Biotechnology University, GIFT City, Gandhinagar, as our guest speaker, along with Dr. Anupam Jyoti, Associate Professor, PIAS. They explored the science behind how certain microbial compounds interact with the human immune system with our students.

Across the day, participants attended expert sessions, stepped into research lab, gained insights into specialised equipment from our research cadres, and walked away with learnings that no standard curriculum could provide.

At MNRDC, we believe that research literacy begins not in postgraduate programmes, but on the day a student first encounters real science in a real lab. This workshop was one more step in that direction.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed:

Coordinators:
Dr. Juhi Saxena & Dr. Anwesha Khanra

Research Cadres:
Dr. Mahendra Singh Rathore, Dr. Vishal Mehta, Dr. Meenu Khan, Dr. Anwesha Khanra, and Dr. Mohit Tannarana

Now Track your samples. In real time.

Testing workflows no longer operate in isolation. Every submission is now mapped, time-stamped, and continuously visible across its lifecycle.

With the Micro-Nano R&D Center’s new tracking system, you move from uncertainty to controlled monitoring — where progress is measurable, not assumed.

Submission becomes traceable. Status becomes accessible. Delays become identifiable.

“Research advances faster when visibility replaces ambiguity.”
