Late Shri. Vishnu Waman Thakur Charitable Trust’s VIVA Institute Of Applied Art offers a full fledged Bachelor of Applied Art (BFA) 4 years Degree Course of Mumbai University. This college is approved by AICTE, affiliated to the University of Mumbai & recognized by DOA (Directorate of Art, Maharashtra State) VIVA is totally unaided upcoming Degree college in Mumbai and is one of the

8 colleges in entire Maharashtra. VIVA trust aims to spread education in all branches without any discrimination. The trust wants to empower students with the tool of knowledge to face the world with courage and confidence. VIVA Trust has started quality education in Applied Art by setting up ViVA Institute of Applied Art , at Virar (E). Set amidst creatively inspiring and beautiful natural surroundings. The institute will not only cater to the needs of the syllabus but also focus on the overall creative and skill development of the students, with adequate support of state-of-theart facilities to ensure qualitative education. This would include a fully equipped Computer lab, Drawing studio, Photography studio etc. The institute also works towards creating art awareness in the society by various cultural activities. Teaching staff includes experienced veterans, young academicians and reputed practising professionals as visiting staff, benefitting th student’s growth to the fullest. TEACHING METHODS

At Viva Institute of Applied Art, we use wide range of teaching methods. This includes Lectures, Power point presentations, Live Demonstrations, Practical Classes, CG Tutorials, Group discussions and Vivas. We bring industry professionals for visiting lectures. Also we will be organizing Seminars, Workshops, Industry Visits, Exhibitions, sketch clubs and competitions for the development of the students. FACILITIES
