اولین دانشکده تخصصی علوم اقتصادی و مالی در ایران که از سال 1315 تا سال 1366 تحت عناوین مختلفی به فعالیت پرداخته.پس از آن تحت نام "دانشکده امور اقتصادی و دارایی" شروع به فعالیت كرده و از سال 1389 تحت عنوان ”دانشگاه علوم اقتصادي“ به فعاليت خود ادامه ميدهد. شیوه جذب دانشجو در این دانشکده به وسیله کنکور سراسری میباشد.این دانشکده همینک بیش از 3000 دانشجو در خود جای داده است
