La nostra avventura EMCI è giunta al termine ormai da qualche giorno.


Vi ringraziamo per aver partecipato e aver contribuito al successo di questo evento.

Non è stato facile organizzare lo Student Meeting, ma siamo orgoglios* del risultato raggiunto.

Hi fellow interpreters! 🎧

Here’s some information to help you navigate our campus. 🔍🗺️

The map shows the buildings that make up the Forli Campus. Our activities will be held mainly at the DIT.Lab (in blue) and the Teaching Hub (also known as TH) comprises 3 blocks: A, B, C.

At the DIT.Lab we will use Labs 1, 2, 3 with interpreting booths.
In Lab 8 there are computers that you can use to study and/or to print whatever you need.
In Lab 12, you can study and have lunch.

At the Teaching Hub, activities we will be held in AULA 1 (ground floor of Block A), and AULA 10 (2nd floor of Block C).

On the map, you can also see the cafeteria and the university library. 🍎📚

We’ll provide a schedule with the list of the activities and the respective classrooms.

Ecco qualche informazione per aiutarvi ad orientarvi. 🔍🗺️

La cartina illustra le strutture che compongono il Campus di Forlì. Le nostre attività si terranno principalmente al DIT.Lab (in blu nella figura) e al Teaching Hub, la struttura divisa in blocchi (A, B, C), che spesso viene abbreviato con la sigla TH.

Al DIT.Lab utilizzeremo i Lab 1, 2, 3 con le cabine di interpretazione.
Al Lab 8 ci sono dei computer per uno studio autonomo e per usufruire della stampante.
Il Lab 12 è a disposizione per studiare e pranzare.

Al TH utilizzeremo l’AULA 1, situata al piano terra del blocco A, e l’AULA 10, situata al 2° piano del blocco C.

Nella cartina sono anche evidenziate la mensa e la biblioteca universitaria.🍎📚

Nel programma delle attività saranno indicate le rispettive aule.

Today we feel a bit nostalgic: here are our students at the 2022 Student Meeting, which was held in Brussels from 30th March to 1st April 2022 and hosted by KU Leuven.
It was such a great experience! 💙

The EMCI Student Meeting is the perfect opportunity to attend lectures and workshops on interpreting, challenge oneself, get to know new people and visit new places. ✨

In just a few months you will attend the next Student Meeting and we can’t wait to welcome you here in Forlì! 😉

Oggi siamo un po' nostalgici: ecco i nostri studenti e le studentesse del Dit che dal 30 marzo al 1 aprile 2022 hanno partecipato allo scorso Student Meeting, ospitato dall'Università KU Leuven a Bruxelles. È stata un'esperienza unica! 💙

D’altronde, l'EMCI Student Meeting è una bellissima opportunità per partecipare a lezioni e seminari sull'interpretazione, mettersi alla prova in un ambiente internazionale, ma anche per conoscere tanta gente e visitare posti nuovi. ✨

A breve sarete voi protagonisti della nuova edizione dello Student Meeting e noi non vediamo l’ora di ospitarvi a Forlì! 😉

Last week we showed you our town, now it’s time to show you our campus. 💙

The “Teaching Hub” is the futuristic-looking building you see in the first picture: almost every student in our campus has at least one class here. 🎓
The building in the second picture is the Dit lab! stands for “Department of Interpreting and Translation”. That’s where you can find our translation labs and of course our beloved interpreting booths! 🙌

La scorsa settimana vi abbiamo mostrato la nostra città; oggi è il turno del nostro campus.💙

Il Teaching Hub è l'edificio dall'aspetto "futuristico" che vedete in foto: ospita gli studenti di quasi tutto il campus di Forlì🎓
L'altro edificio è la casa del Dit! È qui che si trovano i laboratori di traduzione, nonché le nostre amate cabine di Interpretazione🙌

Here’s a charming shot of our town, Forlì!

We are in Emilia-Romagna, a region in central Italy, full of history, culture and with a long culinary tradition. 🍝🥂

In the photo you can see Piazza Saffi, the main square of Forlì. It is named after Aurelio Saffi, an important politician from Forlì who fought for the Unification of Italy.

No more spoilers, we want to give you the chance to see our town yourselves! 👀

Quella che vedete in foto è Piazza Saffi, la piazza principale di Forlì. Prende il nome da Aurelio Saffi, storico politico forlivese che si è battuto per l'Unità di Italia.
