AINCP

AINCP is a Digital Health project funded by the European Union and led by University of Pisa. AINCP stands for Artificial Intelligence in Cerebral Palsy.

We use the latest scientific results to develop a Personalised Medicine approach for the benefit of Children with Unilateral Cerebral Palsy. Our project aims to develop evidence-based clinical Decision Support Tools for personalised functional diagnosis, Upper Limb assessment and home-based intervention for children with UCP, by developing, testing and validating trustworthy Artificial Intelligenc

e and cost-effective strategies. Unilateral Cerebral Palsy is the most common neurological chronic disease in childhood with a significant burden on children, their families and health care system.

✨Un esempio positivo di applicazione dell'Intelligenza Artificiale?
Il nuovo biomarcatore digitale DAB ***Digital Daily Biomarker*** che deriva dai dati di sensori indossabili ed è stato "progettato per stimare i punteggi AHA sulla base del comportamento motorio spontaneo".
È un risultato importante di AINCP perché, combinando diverse tipologie di dati, il DAB consente di misurare il movimento degli arti anche al di fuori dell'ambiente clinico.
Lo studio ha coinvolto dati relativi a bambini con Paralisi Cerebrale Unilaterale e a bambini con Sviluppo Tipico, avvalendosi di tecniche di Machine Learning e Deep Learning. La pubblicazione scientifica completa si può leggere al link nel primo commento👇

📝We are now very busy with the activities initiated during our last Plenary meeting but let us take a moment to share more snapshots of our days in Calambrone hosted by IRCCS Fondazione Stella Maris. We focused on the Rehabilitative Study activities, while discussing the results of the Observational, with sessions dedicated to each aspect technological, clinical, ethical, social and co-design.
A special mention goes to the visit to the CoE- REHAB-CHILD part of the IRCCS Fondazione Stella Maris and organised for us, led by its clinical researchers . Truly inspiring days!
