Aurora, a student in the Master 41 in Computer Graphics, shares her story through Pick & Speak.
The computer is practically her natural habitat: between modeling, adding details, and fine-tuning, the hours fly by as she sits in front of the screen. Is it due to her passion or her perfectionist streak? Perhaps a little of both.

But before she gets to the digital world, there’s a ritual she never skips: sketching on her desk. Sheets filled with ideas, shapes, and intuitions that come to life in pencil before transforming into something bigger.

This project explores an alternative approach to rendering 3D scenes, replacing traditional render engines with a fully open-source AI workflow built in ComfyUI.

Starting from the playblasts of Peek A Boo (BigRock, 2022), the first frame was rendered with Flux.2 Klein and the entire sequence animated using LTX-2.3.

A custom restoration pipeline was then developed to enhance each frame while preserving visual consistency, allowing the final video to be exported in 4K and beyond.

Sound effects were generated with Sony Woosh, while the soundtrack was created with Ace Step 1.5, all running locally within ComfyUI.

Created in just one week and starting from a deliberately rough playblast, this experiment highlights the growing potential of open-source AI workflows for animation and storytelling.

It’s a question that sits at the of , human behavior, and user experience and it’s exactly what our UX & AI Design master’s students set out to answer during an intense and immersive week dedicated entirely to automotive HMI design with

They started by diving into research: building a clear picture of who sits behind the wheel, what they need, what they feel, and how they interact with the systems around them. From there, they moved into the complexities of system design, learning how to translate human needs into coherent, intuitive, and visually compelling interfaces built specifically for the automotive context.

Last weekend, the Venice lagoon turned into an outdoor classroom: aboard their dragonboat, the students combined sports, teamwork, and exploration of the local area into an unforgettable experience.
