🔋 Last week, we were in Trondheim for the kick-off meeting of OLiMPUS, a new Horizon Europe project.
🤝 We are very happy to be part of this European consortium and to start working together over the next four years.
🎯OLiMPUS has an ambitious goal: to develop safe, sustainable and cost-competitive LMFP||graphite battery cells at industrial scale, bringing Made-in-Europe technology towards TRL 7.

Formulating cathodes slurries is one of our intriguing activities this year, in the framework of GIGAGREEN project. Today we have published our new paper on aqueous processing of binders for LMNO cathodes, also looking at the binder/current collector interfacial stability.

We attended GEI 2026 (Giornate dell'Elettrochimica Italiana) last week in Milano. It has been a nice opportunity to catch up with the Italian electrochemistry community, presenting our latest works. In addition, we enjoyed Volta's heritage both in Brera and in Como.

Many trips this September!
Anna joined the "Sustainable chemistry of electrofuels and electrochemicals" Faraday Discussion, presenting and defending our new electrochemical protocols for ammonia electrosynthesis.
Federico has visited Uppsala Universitet as opponend for a PhD thesis, also giving a seminar on our self-healable platforms for Li and post-Li batteries.

We had the pleasure of presenting our latest works at the International Society of Electrochemistry 77th Annual Meeting, in Sydney, giving us the opportunity to discover the other side of the world! It has been a great opportunity to connect with the international battery research community, share expertise and discuss about future collaborations.

Proud to share our just-released review article on potassium battery electrolytes, spanning from aqueous to organic systems, also including quasi-solid and solid-state approches. A big outcome from an international collaboration, leading to a publication in the prestigious journal Progress in Materials Science.
