Our final day in Venice highlighted by a trip to the beach, a last look at the bridge of sighs, and a multi course meal on a boat called the Jolly roger.

Guys, it’s been an amazing adventure. I had never expected to learn so much and experience so much beauty. I hadn’t ever left the country without my family, but I made so many friends and found cherished memories I will never forget. If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend attending this trip, learn, grow, explore, and Just have fun!

And with that, I’m signing off! Thank you for going on this journey with me. It’s been a blast! I can’t wait to see who goes on this trip next! Stay curious everyone! Ciao! 👋

I was able to interview Gianmarco, a server at “La Bottiglia” (a panini shop in Venice) with a history of working with wines and a desire to share his knowledge with others. He has worked here for a year and a half with the restaurant itself existing for 12 years! Their goal is to provide a change to Venetian foods with their sandwiches and appeal to a younger crowd despite the older population of Venice. If you’re ever to visit, Giannmarco says to be curious and not to be afraid of trying new things! He would love to discuss wines from the area and offer recommendations to go with your modern style panini!
