相補的年間交流コースにドローンを使用した農作物の監視技術とその基盤技術の確立を目指した提案が採択され、
九州大学大学院システム情報科学研究院の教員２名（牟田教授,
Gendia助教）、および学生１名、E-JUST連携センターテクニカルスタッフ１名がジョモケニヤッタ農工大学（JKUAT、ケニア）を３月２日から３月６日まで訪問しました。

JST 国際青少年サイエンス交流事業（さくらサイエンスプログラム）相補的年間交流コースの支援によりジョモケニヤッタ農工大学（JKUAT、ケニア）とエジプト日本科学技術大学（E-JUST）
より若手研究者・学生を含む計6名を九州大学に招へいし、「ドローンによる農作物の監視技術とその基盤となる無線通信・センシング技術の研究」をテーマとした国際交流プログラムを実施します。

本研究テーマと関連した分野の研究者を講師として招き、JKUAT, E-JUSTの研究者との技術交流会を以下の日程で開催します。

We are happy to introduce two new students who joined Kyushu University as special research students in September!!
Eng. Ayman and Eng.Mohamed Emad.

Eng. Ayman is doing research activities in Assoc. Prof. Nakamura's lab at the Ito campus and Eng. Mohamed Emad in Assoc. Prof. Sakaguchi and Assoc. Prof. Morino's lab at the Chikushi.

Two new students from E-JUST University came to Japan in August as special research students!

The first one is Eng. Samar is doing research activities in Prof. Pokharel's lab, the other one is Eng. Mohamed Fawzy in Mr. Muta's lab.

On November 1, 2022, 5 faculties of JKUAT (Jomo-Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology) visited Kyushu University, Ito Campus. As part of the visit, they made a courtesy call on Prof. Murata, Dean of Faculty of Information Science and Electrical Engineering. E-JUST center supported the coordination for the visit.
