A significant moment for the skilling ecosystem as Shri Jayant Chaudhary, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, and Minister of State for Education, visited Skill Development Institute (SDI), Kochi.

During the visit, the Hon’ble Minister appreciated NTTF’s decade-long partnership with SDI Kochi and its contribution towards delivering quality technical education, industry-relevant training, certification and employment opportunities in India and abroad.

He also interacted with Hard-of-Hearing trainees, appreciating their achievements, confidence and commitment to continuous learning. The interaction highlighted the importance of inclusive skilling and equal opportunities in creating pathways to meaningful careers.

The visit also reaffirmed the shared commitment of BPCL, SDI Kochi, NTTF and industry partners towards inclusive, industry-aligned and employment-oriented skill development.

Through its decade-long association with SDI Kochi, NTTF continues to strengthen technical education and empower learners with industry-relevant skills for a future-ready workforce.

NTTF is gearing up to celebrate Engineers Day 2026 with a week dedicated to innovation, problem-solving, collaboration, and building the future!

From 7th to 11th September 2026, NTTF centres will participate in a series of exciting activities, including a Centre-Level Hackathon Competition, bringing together creative ideas and innovative solutions from across NTTF.

🔹 7th September: Centre-Level Hackathon Begins
🔹 8th September: Hackathon Concludes
🔹 9th September: Submission of Best Team/Solution by Centres
🔹 10th September: Final Evaluation at Corporate Office
🔹 11th September: Hackathon Results & Expert Masterclass for Faculty

Each NTTF unit/centre will also celebrate Engineers Day on any one day during the celebration week.

The celebration will culminate with the announcement of the Hackathon results and an Expert Masterclass for all NTTF faculty, creating a platform to learn, collaborate, and inspire the next generation of engineers.

Hackathon guidelines and questions will be shared shortly. Stay tuned for more updates!
