2026年度春学期には、47名の新入留学生を迎えることとなりました。本日、オリエンテーションを開催しました。学芸大での学びが実り多きものになるように、GISECスタッフも応援いたします。

In the spring semester of the 2026 academic year, we welcomed 47 new international students. We held an orientation today.

2025年度末をもって、国際交流/留学生センター長の原田先生と、秋庭先生、事務スタッフの中島さんが、センターを離れることになりました。寂しくなります。原田先生、秋庭先生、中島さん、これまで本当にありがとうございました。

At the end of the 2025 academic year, Harada-sensei, Director of the Center for International Student Exchange, along with Akiba-sensei and our administrative staff member Nakashima-san, will be leaving the Center.　We will miss them very much.

24年度教研生であるオフェンツェさん（ボツワナ出身）が、在ボツワナ日本国大使館からの依頼で、東京学芸大学での留学生活について紹介動画を作成しました。学芸大学の授業の様子や課外活動なども一部出ています。

教研生だより：教研生の母国での活躍
News from a former teacher-training student:

バヌアツから留学していた教研生シャロンさん（23/24年度）の勤務校にて、現在、A類の学生さんが教育活動に参加しています。彼女は9月から休学後、オーストラリアに留学し、その後、シャロンさんのいるバヌアツに行くことにしました。

シャロンさんは帰国後、支援を必要とする学級の子どもたちへ、別の教室を利用して、読み書きの授業を開いています。これは帰国後から始めた取り組みで、日本での学びを活用しているだけではなく、バヌアツの一つの島から子どもを取り残さない指導を広げているとのことです。

An undergraduate student from the A course is currently engaged in various activities at the school where Sharon, a former teacher-training student from Vanuatu who studied in Japan, now works. After taking a leave of absence last September, she went to Australia to study abroad, and afterward decided to visit Sharon in Vanuatu.

Since returning to Vanuatu, Sharon has been teaching reading and writing to children who need additional support, by using a separate classroom. This is a new initiative she started after coming back to her home country. She is not only applying what she learned in Japan, but also expanding instructional practices that ensure no child on her island is left behind.

2026年3月3日（火）に、2024年度教員研修プログラムの留学生8名(ボツワナ、ブラジル、インド、韓国、マレーシア、ナミビア、ナイジェリア)の発表会と閉講式が行われました。
研修プログラムの留学生の皆さん、修了おめでとうございます！
発表内容はどれも素晴らしく、示唆に富むものでした。
帰国後も、母国で教員として日本での経験を活かしてご活躍ください！

Final presentation and closing ceremony for the Teacher Training Program students of 2024/25 held on March 3, 2026.

Congratulations to the eight students from Botswana, Brazil, India, Korea, Malaysia, Namibia, and Nigeria who have successfully completed their training program at Gakugei. We hope you will continue to make the most of your experiences in Japan as you return home and expand your careers as school teachers!

日本語の授業を受けたい人は、必ず日本語プレースメントテストを受けてください。

場所：未定
HB の鉛筆と消しゴムを必ず持参してください。

★次の日時までにウェブサイトから申込をしてください。
４月６日（月）の午後５時まて㿆
＊申込みは４月１日（水）から受け付けます。
３月下旬～4 月上旬に申し込みのリンクを GISEC の HP で公開します。必ずそちらから申し込みをしてください。

Be sure to bring HB pencils and an eraser with you.

ISEP生の最終発表会および修了式を行いました
Individual study presentations by the ISEP students

1月21日、ISEPに在籍する交換留学生で、今学期が最後の学期である留学生5名の研究発表が行われました。

発表会では、日本と台湾の消費者行動の比較、アニメと国民としてのアイデンティティの形成、ギャル文化、浮世絵、ビデオゲームへの日本文化の影響など興味深いテーマで自ら調べた内容を発表しました。最後には、原田和雄センター長に発表の講評をいただきました。多くの留学生の友人らが発表を聞きに来て、大変盛り上がった発表会となりました。

修了生の皆さん、今後の益々のご活躍を心よりお祈りしています。

On January 21st, a research presentation session was held for the exchange students in the ISEP who are completing their final semester this term.

During the presentation session, the students presented the results of their own research on a variety of interesting topics, including comparisons of consumer behavior in Japan and Taiwan, the formation of national identity through anime, Gyaru culture, ukiyo-e, and the influence of Japanese culture on video games.

At the end of the session, Professor Harada, the Director of the Center, offered comments on their presentations. Many friends of the presenters also showed up to support the presentations, making the event lively and engaging.

We wish all the ISEP students continued success in the future!!

【修了留学生便り】

元日研生のユリアさん（スウェーデン）とギョクさん（トルコ）が大学に遊びに来てくれました。ユリアさんはルンド大学の大学院生で、博士論文の調査のために来日しました。ギョクさんは筑波大学で修士論文を書き上げるところです。

お二人から聞く研究の話はとても興味深かったです！

日研生プログラム最終発表会および修了式を行いました

Research presentations and graduation ceremony for the Japanese Language and Culture Studies Program

8月1日にて、日本語日本文化研修留学プログラムの9名の研修生の最終発表会および修了式を行いました。発表会では、日本の神社、音楽、在日コリアン学校、若者のファッション、環境保護、Vtuber、浮世絵など、日本と母国での比較対照の研究成果について発表されました。修了式には原田和雄センター長より閉講式の挨拶が行われました。その後、研修生代表より１年間の留学生活の振り返り、感想などが述べられました。

修了生の皆さん、今後の益々のご活躍を心よりお祈りしています。

On August 1st, the research presentations and graduation ceremony were held for the 9 students of the Japanese Language and Culture Studies Program of 2024/25. At the presentations, the students presented the results of their comparative research in Japan and their home countries, covering topics such as Japanese shrines, music, Korean schools in Japan, youth fashion, environmental protection, VTubers, and Ukiyo-e. At the graduation ceremony, Director Professor Harada gave a farewell speech. Afterwards, a student representative of the program gave a speech on their studies abroad in Japan and shared their thoughts on the experience.

We wish all graduates continued success in the future!!
