Sonic Japan

Sonic Japan An anthropology project on sound in Japan We record sounds across the prefectures of Japan, covering a wide variety of themes.

Sonic Japan is a sound blog and sound map featuring ambient recordings and images that communicate sonic life in Japan. Sonic Japan is part of an ongoing project in anthropology by Melbourne University,

Monash University, the Australian Research Council and MNSI, the Melbourne Networked Society Institute.
