This term, we're excited to welcome new members to the team ✨. We’re looking forward to seeing what kinds of activities and initiatives will emerge as each ambassador brings their own ideas, perspectives, and strengths.

We can't wait to see what SL ambassadors accomplish this term 🌱.

インドのChrist (Deemed to be University) から、教員・学生あわせて41名の皆さんがICUに来学されました！

Mark Williams国際学術交流副学長による歓迎のご挨拶から始まり、ICU紹介やQ&Aセッションを実施。キャンパスツアーではICU生との交流も行われ、笑顔あふれるひとときとなりました✨

今後はサービス・ラーニングを通じたさらなる連携も予定しています。
これからの交流が楽しみです！

We were delighted to welcome a group of 41 faculty members and students from Christ (Deemed to be University) in India to ICU!

The visit began with a welcome address by Vice President for International Academic Exchange, Mark Williams, followed by an introduction to ICU and an engaging Q&A session. During the campus tour, visitors also had the opportunity to connect and interact with ICU students, creating many memorable moments and meaningful conversations. ✨

We look forward to strengthening our partnership through future service-learning initiatives and continuing to build connections across borders.

ICUオープンキャンパス2日目の8/15には、サービス・ラーニング・プログラム紹介コーナーに80名を超える皆さまにお越しいただきました🌿

また、サービス・ラーニング紹介動画ブースにも約130名の方々にご来場いただき、多くの皆さまに活動や学びについて知っていただく機会となりました🎥✨

ブースで熱心に話を聞いてくださった皆さま、動画をご覧くださった皆さま、本当にありがとうございました😊

またICUでお会いできることを楽しみにしています🌱

On August 15, the second day of ICU Open Campus, more than 80 visitors stopped by the Service-Learning Program information booth 🌿

In addition, approximately 130 people visited our Service-Learning video booth, providing a wonderful opportunity for many guests to learn more about our activities and educational experiences 🎥✨

Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to visit us, listen to our presentations, and watch our videos 😊

本日はたくさんの方にサービス・ラーニング・プログラム紹介コーナーにお越しいただき、ありがとうございました！

なんと60名以上の皆さまにご参加いただきました🌿 熱心に話を聞いてくださり、私たちもたくさんのエネルギーをいただきました😊

「実際にどんな活動をするの？」 「どんな学びがあるの？」 そんな疑問を少しでも解消できていたら嬉しいです！

明日も10:00からサービス・ラーニング・プログラム紹介コーナーでお待ちしています🙌 ぜひ遊びに来てください！

今年初めて実施した「松阪CSL」の活動現場を7/7～7/9に訪問しました！

ICUは2022年に松阪市と連携協定を締結し、そのご縁から生まれた本プログラム。松阪出身の探検家・松浦武四郎が残した「一畳敷」をテーマに、学生たちが地域の歴史や文化、人とのつながりを学びながらサービス活動を行っています。

実は、この「一畳敷」はICUキャンパス内で保存されている国登録有形文化財。松阪とICUを結ぶ象徴的な存在でもあります。

現在2名の学生が活動中。地域の方々との交流や様々なサービス活動を通して、教室だけでは得られない学びを深めています✨

今後の活動の展開も楽しみです！

大変有意義な意見交換と学びの機会となりました。

On June 24th, thanks to an introduction by Professor Mikiko Nishimura, we were pleased to welcome Dr. Leonora Anyango from the University of Pittsburgh to SLC.

Dr. Anyango also met with students who will be participating this summer in the faculty-led service-learning course in Kenya (led by Professor Nishimura).

Thank you very much for visiting us—we truly appreciate the opportunity to learn from you and exchange ideas.
