東北大学フォーミュラチーム Tohoku University Formula Team (TUFT) Student Formula Team of Tohoku University We plan, design, produce and test an electric formula car for Student Formula Japan each year.

Tohoku University Formula Team (TUFT) is the student formula team of Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan founded in 2012. The greatest feature of our car is the design tailored for electric powertrain. Electric motor generates flat torque from low revolution and electrification enables ideal layout of heavy components and driver. Our object is to beat the internal combustion formula cars by making the most of the above characteristics.
