New MOOC course is now available for registration! Take our course and learn about "The Tale of Genji" (源氏物語), which is said to be the world’s first novel and a work of extended prose fiction.

Our course will give an overview of the story of The Tale of Genji with ample visual references to explain the daily court life, manners and customs, and aesthetic sensibilities, as well as the city (Kyoto), society, and systems that Japanese aristocrats developed a thousand years ago. As a result, students will gain a precise and sophisticated understanding of the world of the tale.

笠原副総長が共著した記事が、IEEE Computer （世界コンピュータ学会の基幹学会誌）に掲載されました。
現在世界で行われているオンライン・ハイブリッド教育を支援するために、今春行われた世界9カ国のオンライン教育（イギリス・オックスフォード、中国・清華大学、米国・カルフォルニア大学、ロシア、オーストラリア等）の紹介記事　”Computer Education in the Age of COVID-19”のにおいて、本学の取り組みが大きく紹介されました。

【Faculty Support】CTLT(Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology) is open!!

The CTLT (Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology) has opened on the 1st floor of Building 7 on the Waseda Campus from April 2020, and will serve as a one-stop service for teaching, learning, and IT support.

The CTLT provides consultations related to “Teaching” and “Learning”, such as support for using IT equipment or ICT tools, interactive teaching for large classes, course management using active learning techniques, etc.
