Tharaka University (TUN) is among the institutions participating in the ongoing Madaraka Day Celebrations 2026 Education Week Exhibition held at Wagberi Primary School grounds, Wajir County, under the theme “Education, Skills, and the Future.”
The three-day exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Education, was officially flagged off by Dr. Beatrice Inyangala and brings together institutions and stakeholders to showcase advancements in education, research, innovation, technology, and skills development.
TUN is showcasing its academic programmes, research innovations, and technological solutions aimed at empowering communities and supporting sustainable national development, while strengthening its visibility in national education and innovation platforms.
The University is represented by Dr. Ismael Kwenga, COD Computer Science; Ms. Ruth Ndung’u, COD Basic Sciences; and Mr. Adan Ndenge, Farm Manager, and student innovators.
Members of the public are invited to visit the TUN exhibition booth to explore academic programmes, innovations, and collaboration opportunities.
