Don Bosco Boys Town Typically, our students fall within the age range of 18 to 22 years and come from the most underprivileged and vulnerable segments of Kenyan society.

Don Bosco Boys’ Town is a technical institute providing comprehensive education that encompasses technical skills, moral values, and holistic human development to empower young men and women to become productive and respected citizens of their country. To achieve our mission, we offer a two-year technical program that is tailored to accommodate the unique needs of these disadvantaged students.

Still on , Dr. Marangu, CEO of Windle International, together with Anthony Kerwegi, Head of Programmes and Quality Assurance at Windle International Uganda, met with Mr. Ngigi Njuguna John(center), Deputy Director at Don Bosco Tech Africa

The meeting focused on the piloting of the 2-Tier Education Module currently being implemented in and explored strategic considerations for rolling out the pilot in .

The model is designed to provide young people with a clear and accelerated pathway to acquire relevant skills and transition into waged or self-employment within a shorter timeframe.

By leveraging a blended approach that combines self-paced learning with face-to-face practical training, the 2-Tier model enhances accessibility, flexibility, and employability outcomes for youth.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to education solutions that respond to labour market demands and create sustainable livelihood opportunities.

Household Electrician Bootcamp
From 7th to 17th April 2026, Don Bosco Tech Africa organised a 10-day Household Electrician Bootcamp at Don Bosco Tech Kenya, Karen. The practical training targeted young people who are Not in Employment, Education or Training (NEET), reaffirming the organisation’s commitment to creating pathways to skills development and decent work for vulnerable and marginalized youth.
